Seriously, what's with all these people saying it'll be fun?

Seriously though, like, what?

God forbid we disagree about a video game as a worth successor to it's name.

If I get a computer that'll be up to snuff, I'll probably end up getting it, because it seems like a pretty interesting game regardless. But I just won't be expecting Fallout. And a part of me will be sad because of that.

I actually want to play this FallOut. But judging from the kneejerk reaction from a lot of people, it concerns me that everyone thinks this game is Oblivion and stops their brain right there...

See this is the reaction I had when I first heard about the game, "Oblivion in a post-apoc world", but whereas Oblivion sounded completely boring to me, Fallout has me very interested. I like the idea of post-apoc Oblivion, probably because there's been very few free roaming 1st/3rd person games set in that kind of world.

I guess for fans of the series (any series) they just don't like the change, which is why we keep getting Dynasty Warriors Next Gen Clone games, where every game in the series is almost identical to the last. God forbid any series ever changes its style or premise as things get outdated and gaming evolves. That's apparantly a big no-no.

That's what the M rating is for--so yes.


Also, this thread is full of a bunch of whiney game nerds on both sides being giant fucking assholes, so the way I see it, I have two options:

I can ban all of you for being whiney assholes, or I can close this thread, and tell you it's probably not a good idea to make another one, because next time I WILL ban you all for being whiney assholes.

I choose the latter, purely because it's 7 am, I haven't slept yet, and it's easier.
