Captain Rainbow (キャプテン★レインボー, Captain Rainbow?) is an upcoming game for the Nintendo Wii, made by skip Ltd., the creators of the Chibi-Robo! series and GiFTPiA.

The main character "Nick" is able to transform into "Captain Rainbow" a superhero wielding a yo-yo, with a wish to restore his lost popularity. To restore his popularity, Nick ventures to Minmin Island; an island where wishes are said to come true. Nick will meet an vast array of past minor Nintendo characters with their own dreams and wishes. The game features a stylized cartoon look simmiliar to Skip's other games. The game also offers various minigames, like golf, bug catching, boxing and fishing.

Characters

* Nick - Coming from "The Land of the Free": Mameruka (possibly a pun on America), Nick's alter-ego is Captain Rainbow. although not as popular as he used to be, Nick came to Minmin Island with the dream of restoring his popularity.
* Birdo - From Super Mario Bros 2, Birdo's reason to come to Minmin Island is to become popular with all the boys. However, she was wrongly suspected of a crime and imprisoned.
* Little Mac - From Mike Tyson's Punch-Out!!, Mac's wish is to become a world champion once again.
* Hikari - From Shin Onigashima, it's unknown why she came to Minmin Island.
* Takamaru - From Nazo no Murasamejō, it's unknown why he came to Minmin Island.
* Otsu-San - From Famicom Golf, he's portrayed as an Old Man. It's unknown why he came to Minmin Island.
