It's very odd that one of the more simplistic and yet marvelously original games, one which took simple gameplay and built it towards a artful complexity, as most of the best games do, has yet to see a sequel. I played it all the time for the N64, and I've even played it recently--I just really want to see a sequel that adds to the formula but doesn't alter it's almost perfect appeal.

I also second the need for a new Ogre Battle game, hopefully one that continues the overarching story and tells me what happened after Person of Lordly Caliber with the whole reincarnated Rashidi thing.

Grim Fandango 2 and Freespace 3 totally need more votes.

Secret of Mana 4. Heck, it could be the children of the Secret of Mana 2 heroes, I don't honestly care as long as it kept a fun battle system and a fun class system.

Radiata Stories 2. Keep it all the same style of gaming, just change the story and the characters and ADD A GODDAMN NEW GAME +.

I've learned one thing, square is incapable of making a proper sequal to any final fantasy game. I mean if you need evidence, just LOOK at Final Fantasy X-2.

Now here are some sequals I want...

Shadowrun 2 (not the next-gen crap, nor the sequal to the snes, but a sequal to the genesis version....)
Phantasy Star V (I don't consider PSO or PSU even sequals to the greatness that is Phantasy Star)
I suppose I wouldn't mind a sequal to Chrono Trigger and Mega Man legends like everyone else.
