When's Atomic Robo Selling Out?!

When's Atomic Robo Volume 1 going to be out of stock???

So that I can sell... y'know?

Kurosen 07-30-2008 05:58 PM

Ideally, never. Sorry.

I've been looking at this for a while now and I have come to the conclusion that no, I don't know.

So you can sell your used copy of a trade paperback, estimated used-resale value somewhere between jack and shit? I mean what kid, spit it out.

Yeah, trade paperbacks never really become a hot commodity on the market. At least, not for a decade or two after all publication stops and they become hard to find. Even then, it's only a lukewarm commodity.

More importantly, when is Atomic Robo gonna Sell Out?

Where's the Robo-shaped macaroni and breakfast cereals with brain-in-jar-shaped marshmallows?

Truce 07-31-2008 12:45 AM

Speaking of merchandise, I'm waiting for the authentic Atomic Robo pants to come out.

Of course, I'd have to question what I would wear with that, since I don't think I could pull it off nearly as well as Robo does.

Well Buy.com finally got another shipment in and my copy finally got shipped, so it's still not sold out.

I'm not sure why it should sell out. Maybe in a decade or whatever but it's not going to be impossible to find even then I'm sure. I mean, I'm sure they'll keep printing it as long as people are buying it. People like money, right?

And as far as rarity or whatever, it's not Spider-Man #1...yet?

Is it just me or does it seem incredibly rude to go onto a writer's forum and ask them when their merchandise will stop making them money, so that the asker can make money off of it?

I mean, what?

SolidSamurai 08-02-2008 12:52 PM

Just for clarification... I was asking when volume 1 would sell out, not the entire damn franchise. I know what and what does sound 'rude', thank you. ;)

Anyway... a decade? Dang, well I could just buy every volume in the series, and then let it collect dust? I mean, it's not like Brian cares, I'm buying his stuff. :D
