Class: Attack Fighter

Hull rating: Medium
Shield rating: Heavy
Speed rating: Medium

The Viper is a heavy, single-seater attack bomber, capable of destroying light warships with little support.

Name: SF-2 Shark
Class: Fighter
Weapons: two laser cannons
Hull rating: Light
Shield rating: Medium
Speed rating: Medium

The Shark is an older class of fighter, as more StarWings enter service, they are being moved to escort duty, though they're still used quite often on the edges of Earth Space.

Should we choose a ship or something? I like the SF-3 the best. The faster the better and it also has a good weapons system.

Everyone's going to be flying the StarWing. Those three are going to the three main friendly fighters you'll see in the RP. I'll put up the main enemy fighters later, then possably Capital ships.

Name: Raider Assault Fighter
Type: Bomber
Weapons: 4 laser cannons, two rocket launchers
Hull rating: Strong
Shield rating: Strong
Speed rating: Slow

A two-person craft, this heavily armed fighter can enter atmosphere (Though not without risk of loss of control) unlike many other frighters. They are commonally used agenst escorting capitol ships, and depend on other fighters for cover.

Name: Raider Fighter
Type: Fighter
Weapons: 4 laser cannons
Hull rating: Weak
Shield rating: Medium
Speed rating: Fast

These fast, and quickly-produced fighters are fairly manuverable, though structually weaker, plus they don't carry warhead launchers, so they don't have as great a reach. However they tend to use numbers and swarm a few targets.

I don't know, but from the pictures it looks like their stats should be switched around. The second one looks bulkier so I thought it should be the one that's slow and has strong shielding. But, it's your game, I don't really care either way. Just wanted to add my 2 cents.

Actually, from the site I got these images from, they're the same type as I put them in. I'm sure those who have played the Star Wars combat sims reconize the CG ones. And now, some captol ships.

Name: ESF Assault Cruser
Class: Battleship
Weapons: 20 heavy laser turrets

The Assault Cruser is the biggest ship in the ESF fleet. It's capable to carrying three squads of fighters, and is often used as the command ships.

Class: Cruser
Weapons: 10 heavy laser turrets

The gunship was designed as a support/escort vessel. It carries no fighters, though it's quite capable of defending itself from attack.

How powerful are the missiles and rockets? I'm assuming they have an homing system for those weapons.

Come to think of it, how powerful are the laser cannons, both heavy and non-heavy?

Missiles are the standard for shooting down fighters at long range, however they don't really have the punch for taking on capitol ships. As for rockets, think Mk-82 bombs with a pulpultion unit. As for lasers, a few hits from the ones a starfighter can carry can destroy an unshielded fighter, whereas a heavy laser cannon can do it in one hit, however the rate of fire is much slower.

well, ill join, i guess, but i have one request...well two...
number 1: Better defined hit points, a.k.a. how many hits they can take
number 2: How much damage weapons can do
not to much to ask for, other wise stuff would just die when the dm felt like it, which isnt fair if he/she wants someone/everyone dead, also blasting randomly into targets and having no defined amount of life you could be vaporized with a half of a pumpkin pie for all we know, just answer those to questions, and im in
