Musical Secrets You've Found

We've all found them (I certainly hope you guys have found them!) Well if not, let me explain:

Just listening to music, my friends and I have found meanings to songs, or found little subtleties about other songs that just blow my mind sometimes. The best part is going to google, and typing in your new find, and only finding a handful of other people that have found it!

I'll share my favorites:

a) Pink Floyd. If you listen to the Wall Straight through, and put it on repeat. Once you get to the very last song (Outside the Wall), at the very end, he says "Isn't this where" and it cuts. But if you play the very FIRST song of the Wall (In the Flesh), he says "we began?".

Thus, if you listen straight through, he says "Isn't this where we began?"

BLEW my mind when I first found it, because if you know anything about Pink Floyd or the Wall, they have a heavy motif of repetition The fact that the WHOLE ALBUM is just a circle..BLOWS my mind.

b) The Beatles. In the song, "I am the Walrus", from 3:30 onwards, they are chanting "Smoke pot smoke pot everybody smoke pot, everybody smoke pot". I cannot believe they got away with that, that's AMAZING!!

I was just listening to the song with a friend, and we were like "are they saying..what I THINK they're saying?!"

c) Seal. Kiss from a Rose. It's about cocaine.

It totally is. Just listen to it 'gain.

Now, if these are all me and my friends have found, YOU guys all must have found some great musical secrets! Share please :)

What songs arent blatantly about cocaine? I mean, White Wedding.

Also from Pink Floyd's The Wall, the song "Empty Spaces" has a backward message in the beginning. You can clearly hear the gibberish when its playing forward. Something along the lines of "Congratulations, youve found the secret message. Send your regards to Pink, via the funny farm." It sorta helps that I've heard The Wall back to back over a hundred times.

According to my copy of the Beatles Anthology, I'm pretty sure that's actually supposed to be "Everybody's got one, everybody's got one" and people just get it confused.

edit: Ah-ha! From the horse's Lennon's mouth:

John Lennon also said that Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds was about a drawing. Which may be true, to an extent, but come on. LSD initials, content of the song. Really?

Brown Eyed Girl is about anal sex. Me and my friends are like 83% sure about this.

The thing is, it probably was about the drawing, because why would he constantly deny it was about LSD otherwise? It's not like he was trying to hide his drug usage, which he was already very public about. This is not to say he wasn't on the drugs while writing it, but that he intended for it to be about the drawing.

Breaking News: I don't think many of the things described in "Ironic" are even ironic.

They're not.

However, the song itself is. But people have been complaining about that song since it came out...
