You have any doubts with Bay around? I wouldn't put it past Bay to have put him in, even if the script didn't call for him.

I could see some people mentioning The Fallen to Bay when the title was being discussed, and Bay going OMG, we have to include him in the movie.

I can tell you all right now that I know for a fact that the Dinobots are not in it (No Grimlock makes Kroze sad) and that another Prime will be in the movie (Pretty easy to guess who).

It seems as though they are setting up for Unicron in the third movie.

Not really, there's Sentinel and Roddimus Prime. Both of which I'm not sure if I'd want to see and really hate Optimus to be replaced by one.

Where are you getting your info from anyway?

Well if The Fallen is in it I'm gonna guess we're going to have Vector Prime. But really there are a ton of primes.

Unless you're Michael Bay you can pretty much GTFO

edit: I'm thinking tho that ultimately Bay is going to keep everything as G1-esque as possible... In other words, The Fallen will in fact be the Sweeps, Prime will continue to be Optimus, Megatron will become Galvatron, hopefully with Mr. Spock reprising the voice (Yeah, I know, fat chance, but hey...) and Starscream will be kicking ass and taking names, hopefully NOT to be disintegrated by a pissed off Galvatron, seeing as how Starscream = teh awesomez.

Starscream's just not the same without the whiney, screechy voice. I know the guy who did his voice died... but couldn't you get like... chris tucker or someone to do it?

Idea needs more work, but this would be a nice solution for the Dinobots-but-not-really.
That, or go Alternators-ish and have the Dinobots be represented with the closest vehicle equivalent.
Like... I dunno, Grimlock with a musclecar, Snarl is a construction/demolition truck, swoop is a small airplane. That kinda thing.
