Comic Con is there for the people who go, not for employees. I'd say your friend was being a prick expecting a t-shirt without having the wade through that godforsaken line, just to get a lame TF shirt... (it just had Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen on it)

(Just a tad bitter, because I didn't have the patience to get one.)

As for people knowing nothing but what Bay tells us, that isn't true either. There's always occasional leaks from the set (usually with pictures), and some claim to have seen the leaked script (which Bay has claimed was false, but he said the same thing about the 1st movie, and people were pretty dead on back then).

I've been trying to avoid the spoilers, but I do know three things...

One, apparently there's a casting call for a midget in the movie & the midget who got the role is one who appears on the Howard Stern show, by the name of Beetlejuice.


Two, there's going to be an Ice Cream truck transformer. (There's even pictures.) However, I've heard that it won't stay that way & will eventually become a pair of twins, that will acquire new alt modes. That bit, I assume comes from the leaked script however.

Three, Arcee will be in this one. People speculate this because 3 copies of a custom cycle were made for this movie.

There's likely more spoiler information to be found on the Allspark forms, TV Movie section, but again I avoid that forum.

I'm sorry, but I'll be damned if I'm going to listen to any rumors spouted off by the friend of an acquaintance to the guy that washes dishes for the caterer for one of the grips on set. That's just not how I roll.

I wasn't referring to that, I was just making the general comment that there is at least some information out there. No real intent behind it, just something I said because it seemed to flow with what I'm saying.

Personally, I don't know if anything I've heard is true, and as I try to avoid hearing it, it makes it all the more likely that it isn't.
