And frankly, Axl, I would not stop at just the Bay Area. In my experience, I've found that all of California is pretty shitty.

If California was a public restroom, and random places represented as people came in and did their business; everyone would have their bad habits sure. Then the guy representing the Bay Area comes in, clogs the toilet and defecates all over the seat. Then afterwards he doesn't wash his hands and kicks over a trash can.

That is what driving in the Bay Area is like. But at least now I can make it to any airport in Northern California with my eyes closed.

I've always thought Ghost-Riding was pretty amusing though, so I guess that's a positive thing.

Unless you were driving to the Oakland airport which I point out takes you through Oakland which as noted above is a hellmouth.

Seriously though you're driving from SoCal and bitching about traffic? What were you, offput by the prospect of actually getting somewhere in less than six hours?

I finally figured it out then:

SFO and OAK are built so close together so that people have an alternative from driving through Oakland.

It makes total fucking sense.

If I was in SoCal I'd just take LAX or something. Why would I drive 6 hours to dislike the Bay Area even more?

I'll be visiting the SF Bay area next week with my family. Whats there to see? What places should we avoid?
