WHO'S PLAYING

Everyone currently running a let's play do a post here. I need an idea of how many of these are active.

ALSO - NO MORE MAKING NEW LET'S PLAYS UNTIL STATED OTHERWISE

Hey Fifth how's it going?

POST DELETED

No posts in this thread unless you are telling me about your active let's play that you are currently running and intend on continuing to run.

I am telling you about my active Let's Play that I am currently running and intend on continuing to run.

It's about FF6, by the way.

Mondt 08-07-2008 04:24 PM

I intend to continue mine!

Actually I should probably do that now.

My I Wanna Be The Guy one is still going on. I've been sick this week unfortunately, so I'm a little behind on updates.

Sadly, the "I've been sick this week and that's why updates have been slow" also applies to my Mass Effect Let's Play. In my defense, it's an ear infection that got progressively worse after the wrong antibiotics (which I'm apparently allergic to) were misapplied and it's now progressed into bronchitis.
But yeah, I won't cry if you close my thread. Much.

EDIT: I guess I'll briefly expand my thoughts here.
Insofar as any semi-active Let's Play from the past is "grandfather claused" into acceptance, I'm cool with continuing my Mass Effect schedule; it's just that my health is top priority, and insofar as I'm coughing up a storm and dealing with itchy rashes and painful ear infections, my activity here is going to be more like "I can still check in occasionally because I'm bedridden and have computer access, but I'm not in the mindset to spend three consecutive hours writing up the next Chapter of my Let's Play." (Yeah I dunno about other LPers but it takes at least three-four hours for me.)
But, I'll be straight and honest about this much: if there's a competition among previously-created LPs and some are going to be closed and only an arbitrary number, like, say, four, LPs are allowed to be run at a time? Then, I'm not in the mindset to compete for a slot against LPers dedicated enough to do three or four updates weekly. Even when I'm healthy, I've had a rather erratic (once, maybe twice a week) updating preference because I'm not quite the hardcore gamer I used to be. (Real life's a bitch like that.)

So if I can keep my topic open without pissing mods off? I'd like to. But insofar as my LP would actually prevent a more consistent updater here from continuing his LP? Eh, I don't want to screw anyone over like that.

EDIT 2: if nothing else, you gotta dig my excessive use of insofar there.

Fifthfiend 08-07-2008 08:24 PM

I don't think we're quite horrible enough to punish you for getting bronchitis.

Maybe someday! Oh how I yearn to scale those airy peaks of douchehood. But alas it remains but a dream.

Mondt 08-10-2008 07:24 PM

We can say I have bronchitis and close mine.

Because I don't think I'll be continuing it. Too much stuff going on with me and I'm just not feelin' it.

Sorry!
