Pilot Academy

Inyri was ,for once since she had arrived at the academy, rushing to get to the breifing for the training mission they had that day. The lift she was in ended up making a number of stops, so it took longer to reach her destonation. As she approached, she managed to have it look like she wasn't rushing at all as she walked in. To her surprise, no one else was in the breafing room, so she took her usual seat closest to the door, and waited for the others to show up.

John entered the briefing room and saw Inyri sitting just near the door. "Hi! Whats up?"
John then took the seat next to Inyri.

Paul walked in and took his usual seat somewhere near the middle. He let out a loud yawn and looked at the other two. "Someone wake me up when they start," he said as he quickly fell asleep.

Truce walked in and took his usual seat, which was away from everyone else. Seeing that almost everyone was here, he calmly waited for the briefing to begin knowing that it would...should be only a little longer.

OOC: I guess i should have included an appearance in the bio, but since I forgot, i'll post it here:
6'3", 180lbs, black hair (combed back, about 4in long), green eyes, medium build. He usually wears a black trenchcoat over the academy apparel.
--and J Man, there was a signup, and I think we're at our limit of players already, sorry

IC: Scott moved quietly into the room and took a seat about an even distance from the others. He cared not about trivial sitting arangements. His eyes darted around the room, glancing over everybody in attendance and a barely audible sigh came from him as he noticed that he had at least 10 years on most of them.

OOC: Whoops. *shuffles away and deletes post*

Two minutes after the last person arrived, the instructer walked in and stood at the podium at the front of the room. Looking over everyone he said "Good morning everyone. Today you all will be flying one of the harder challenges here." After typing in a command, an image of a fairly good-sized astroid came up. "This is Demioa. There is a five-mile long canyon on there that we use for flying practice, and target practive. You will be transported to a point near the astroid, and one by one you will fly the canyon. Along the route are appoxmatly three dozen targets that you can attempt to hit to improve your score. However, keep in mind that some of these fire back, and if you get hit, you score goes down. A perfect score is 1000. That is all for now, you launch in ten minutes."

"Well finally we get to do something fun" John said to him self. He got up and started heading towards the launchpad. While walking he thought to him self "Let's hope I get a good score..."

Suddenly waking up, Paul understood quickly. "Alright, shooting and flying in a very tough course. I think we won't have trouble here," he said as he got up and went toward his ship.

Feh...basic stuff, shouldnt be much of a problem at all....hmmm
As they were walking out of the room and heading towards the ships, Scott followed. A few seconds later, he asked, "Anybody want to make this a little more interesting? Some friendly wager...say...lowest score buys drinks for the group afterwards?"
