He obviously took off his contacts, looked in a mirror, and said, "feel the burn."

But he already Geassed himself!

Since when have the writers paid attention to their own cosmology?

Yeah, I mean any show that suddenly resurrects a guy who obviously was victim to nuclear obliteration with no real reason definitely doesn't pay attention to little details like "logic" and "continuity".

i can't really se how any of you can take geass seriously after the inclusion of a ninja maid who even wears her maid hat under a wig disguise.

That was the point when people supposed to stop paying attention to minor details...

Also, in anime explosions don't kill people, they make them disappear for a while so that other characters can worry about their fate.

And then he had Orange cancel him. That, or Orange canceled the whole city already. I'm not done harping on that!

I'm betting the fact that he told Schneizel specifically to obey Zero is going to bite him in the ass one of these season finales.

That finale was a lot better than it deserved to be. Also, it kind of sucked. The show still doesn't make much sense, and the last arc was empty and emotionless because, again, there were no motivations behind the characters involved. At least the final five minutes or so were an ending, unlike almost everything else that becomes popular and leaves out loose ends for a sequel.

It's still weird how they basically threw the original plot about C.C. & Geass powers out the window and just went off on some other tangent for the ending. I would've liked to see how Taniguchi originally envisioned the plot.

Prickzaku is still a jerk and I hate it that he "won".

In all seriousness? Loldouche did not die, fucking Sunrise is trolling everyone. They're going to milk this series til the cows come home.

Edit: On second thoughts, this ending could have been a lot worse. It could have been Macross Frontier's last episode.

Well just finished the finale (hopefully) and the only thing I have to say (and I am saying it with as much restraint as I can) is this:

HOLY FUCK THIS EPISODE IS HILARIOUS! XD It's like Sunrise just fuck and threw in whatever the hell for the ending. Orange-kun running an orange ranch with Anya. Tamaki, the loser bartender. Suzaku being doomed to where a mask for the rest of his life. Nunally being epically defeated by teh evil stairs. Lelouch who completely changes his mind about geassing Nunally once he found out that she was planning to do the exact same thing (I'm imagining him thinking, "Bitch you can steal my plan! I called dibs on that!" C.C. deciding to be a gypsy, but bringing Cheese-kun with her. This:

People may complain that ending was unfulfilling, but I say that it was rather fitting for a series known for its trainwreck potential and its unintentional comedy. Now who's up for Code Geass: Arthur of the Omnomnom?

EDIT: (Warning: contains TTGL spoilers) Did anybody else get a flashback of the epic final battle between TTGL and the Anti Spirals during the scuffle between Orange and Anya? Only Geass's rendition of it was less epic and more hilarious since Orange was fighting a loli as opposed to humanity's last stand against the opposition of evolution and individuality.

I think my favorite thing about that ending for Tamaki is that Rivalz also has a job doing the exact same thing.

Also where the fuck did Shinku go?

Y'know, that might actually be worth the time.

This is why Orange-kun should have his own series. Code Geass: Jeremiah of the Orange Plantation.

Hopefully he died during the battle.

By the way, I'm astounded that EVERYONE INVOLVED IN THE BIG BATTLE SURVIVED. Except Loldouche. Huh.
