Is Voltron one robot, or five robots?

One. When he's five, he's not Voltron, he's just five lions. Wait, Voltron was lions, right? It's been too long since I watched it.

Well I mean, when KISS is together, they're KISS, but they're still the four people who make up KISS, right?

You wouldn't go like "Hey there's KISS, he really rocks!"

In every lion there is a portion of Voltron, but no one lion is Voltron by itself.

This is the geekiest conundrum ever.

There are five divine robots, distinct from one another yet of one substance. The robots are co-eternal and uncreated: "the Father is Voltron, the Son is Voltron, and the Holy Spirit is Voltron, and yet there are not five Voltrons but one Voltron."

Sometimes it really sucks being made of lions, especially when your foot breaks into "Circle of Life" mid battle.

Right, but if those four people physically combined to form KISS, than yes, you probably would.
