Sorry, all this is is a rally call for Legend of Zelda to win the Best.Game.Ever competition. Although it is slaughtering Adventure at the moment, our ultimate goal shall be total victory!

Sorry, but while I do like Zelda, I had to vote for Adventure on this one. Anventure kicks ass.

Also, what the hell? Phantasy Star got beaten out by Contra? Pac-Man got beaten out be Metroid? Pitfall got beaten by Final Fantasy?!

The GameFaqs voters have absolutely no taste.

Although I would think Ocarina of Time may be in the running for best game ever made, I also have other games I would consider in the running, all different genres and types of games. This is why I think all these contests are stupid.

Anyway, what are you, four? If you really mean that and are taking offense.. No. You're not the only voter. In fact, you could agree with DI in all aspects. Mayhaps you don't, but what does it matter? It's just words on an Internet forum.

Rare is it that any such voted list of magazine's rankings line up the way I feel they should. Still, that means little if anything. It's just my personal opinion, which I use to dictate what games I buy and don't buy, what consoles I like or dislike.. I do have to agree that it's kind of immature to insult someone's taste because it is not your own.

And here, I thought this was going to be an important topic about Four Swords Plus, or a new title that was just announced... (note: to the best of my knowledge, no new title has been announced past 4S+)

It was a joke, i don't take anything on the internet forum about games serious. is it possible to get some sarcasm tags?

We went through this in another thread, but I can oppose you in some cases:

Yeah, we can be all 'i'm retro!' and stuff, but i don't care if adventure was the first rpg, or adventure for that matter. it sucks now.

pac man losing to metroid, well i agree. pac man should have won.

Same argument for pitfall against final fantasy, even though i don't like final fantasy 1.

As for contra vs phantasy star, that was a matter of exposure. But it is a gamefaqs contest, so you can't expect much.
