The Audiosurf thread for Real Men™

Take note: The reference to gender in this thread's title is an artifact of language. All may rest assured that this thread is for any who are not weak, flabby, pale shadows of humanity. This is too long to go in a thread title, hence the slightly inaccurate abbreviation.

So you say you're a Real Man™? Well get ready to prove it:
  1. Get this Album: http://s3k.ocremix.org/ Strictly speaking you only need SnappleMan's stuff but the whole thing is good.
  2. Play any track with SnappleMan's name on it as Ninja Mono.
  3. Earn Stealth. And by "earn stealth" I mean try to earn stealth, 'till either the ravenous gray horde whittles your will down to a quivering nub, compelling you to slink away in defeat, dignity forfeit, OR you grasp ninja-starred victory in your white-knuckle grip.
I mean it. Do as I say and you will experience Ninja Mono As God Intended.

Also, we should all put our Audiosurf account names in the profile space allotted for such things so that we may compare ourselves to each other and not to the best 20 players on Earth.

While that seems incredibly tough, I will refuse just because it's Mono, and mono is not a real mode. I urge all of your to stop your mono ways and go to something with more... life in it.

Also Audiosurf rocks and and I can't seem to play anything less than 300 intensity or else it instantly bores me.

I'll admit, I play mono frequently, and despite all the hate, I like it. Mainly because of the lack of thought process needed to do anything except dodge the gray cars. I understand that some people may see this over simplified mode as degrading to such an awesome puzzle game, but it gives me an excuse to pay attention more to the music while at the same time actually doing something.

I personally encourage everyone to play Double-Vision. Whether it be with a friend or by yourself, it's quite the hilarious experience.

If I may be so bold:

You can't use Glitter to refer to Real Men.

I'm sorry, but what were you thinking?

A Real Man™ does not fear glitter.

I pretty much only use Mono unless I'm doing an extremely slow song; I'm so bad at multi-tasking that doing any sort of puzzle mode either makes me fail horribly, or do pretty well but completely forget what song I'm playing. I just can't solve Tetris puzzles and pay attention to music at the same time.

Besides, what's so bad about Ninja Mono, anyway? A Real Man™ thinks fast, not elaborately. (How did you do the glitter thing?)

Hui! Gogogadget BALLS!

Again, the solution to all challenges is either a Feindflug album, or Layla-Derek and the Dominoes on ninja ironmode. I mean, it may not be the best music, but thats a lot of fuckign notes. Some parts of layla are basically impossible to stealth.

EDIT--
Wait, Sonic and Knuckles remix? Fuck yes.

Little known fact- some of Sonic 3's soundtrack was composed my Micheal Jackson. Yes, you heard me right.

DOUBLE EDIT-- I'm actually a bit disappointed with it. But as you said, snappleman's is best.

This. Ninja Mono is an action game, which is why it's terrible on any song that doesn't consist primarily of downward slopes.

[glitter]A Real Man™[/glitter].

In the future, you can see all the code in someone's post by hitting the quote button. Or you could track down the page which lists all the tags, it's enlightening.

Just played me some demo, and I freakin' love this game. I'm trying to talk myself out of buying it, as I can afford it, but really should save my money.

The Time Warp kicks butt on this, and Dragonforce is intense.
