Even directors hate Fox!
Babylon A.D. director Mathieu Kassovitz bashes his own film and Fox for turning the film into what it is...
"Fox was sending lawyers who were only looking at all the commas and the dots," he says. "They made everything difficult from A to Z." "I should have chosen a studio that has guts," The whole article http://blogs.amctv.com/scifi-scanner...-kassovitz.php |

If they succeed on blocking Watchmen I will never see a Fox movie again. And I'd like to think y'all wouldn't either.
|
I don't think I want to take a definite position on that without knowing if it's rubbish or not. I've come out of an incredible amount of movies thinking "I wish that would have never come out." Even movies based on books. Especially movies based on books.
That said if they usually treat movies like Kassovitz describes, and they don't really give me reason to believe otherwise, that's enough reason to avoid their products right there. |
If Fox blocks the Watchmen movie I will mail them a love letter saying hey great guys, thanks for being awesome, PS nude photos enclosed.

Knowing full well Watchmen could suck all that is ass, I'd be pretty pissed if they blocked it. I'm just too curious about it to possibly shut it out before anyone's seen it.
|
The problem with what they're doing with Watchmen is that it's either a really dick move, or it's a really ass move.
Like, they're just trying to delay it as much as they can. What a dick move. Or they're trying to get producer credit for a movie they actively chose not to take a chance on, let alone did any work on. What an ass move. |
Yeah but the point that most everyone else is saying is hey, if this movie sucks, it might not be so bad that it gets blocked and Fox gets yet another 'franchise raped' notch on their belt buckle of "Fuck You."

Isn't this that movie that's a trying to be a really bad rip-off of Children of Men?
