Not a new concept, but great execution

2-D Animators have used this 'technique' for decades, but this is extremely clean looking. We're inching closer and closer to CGI indistinguishable from reality. |
[unberable nerdy rant]Uncanny valley Uncanny valley Uncanny valley blablabla creepy CGI blah Robots dominating, CGI Porn, Hentai, Furries furries, 3d Furries!![/unberable nerdy rant]
Hey! Capcom uses this Technology... good to know!! But, didnt they used stuff like this on that movie Beuwolf? |
Oh man, I had the volume turned way up and my mic has been randomly playing things too quietly or too loudly based on where i move.
So the end of the video they have is coming up, I glance away. Which switches it to Loud mode. Her "Gragh" near the end made me fall out of my chair. I'm considering pressing charges. |
Them's some fancy gadgets you got there pardner. This could make some games and things look really really good. Hopefully it'll be another good step towards realistic games without bloom effects.

I'd be more impressed if her skin moved when she talked. Look especially at her forehead and neck in comparison to the real woman's. Her hair doesn't seem to sit right on her head, either, but that could just be me.

...Is it me or toward the end does it kinda sound like she's having sex or something?
"*gasp* Ah...Ooh. *draws in breath* RAH! *contented sigh*" *snicker* Anyway, yeah, that's awesome. Go CGI! |
the first thing I thought when I was watching it was "Wow, this is computer generated?" But there are still a few bugs here and there (her mouth needs better shading/shadow effects, and the teeth aren't right, among other things).
Still, it beats about everything else they've used in video games. |
