Worst Mistakes in Movies & Television

So, what is everyone's worst mistakes in movies and TV?

Magus 09-09-2008 10:16 PM

Well, in recent times, I actually wasted my time watching the first season of the FOX Terminator show, which became progressively worse and worse leading up to the action-less season finale of slow-motion motel-pool dead-body 10-minute Rolling Stones choreography extravaganza.

It was a mistake.

Going to see Hamlet 2 when I could have seen something that didn't suck.

The moment they made the terminator a series, I knew it had to suck. Actually I knew it was going to suck the moment I finished terminator 3. I think a mistake to me was probably the later seasons of babylon 5. I knew it was going to stink when they took out the characters who made the show.

[In reference to Hamlet 2]

They really mislead you by saying it's "from the writers of South Park: Bigger, Longer, Uncut" because for me that automatically meant Trey Parker and Matt Stone.

I was wrong.

EDIT: So does the existence of Terminator 4 mean it's REALLY going to suck now?

If you need to ask this question, you know the answer already...

Slasher flicks. All of 'em.

For what it's worth, it has Christian "Harsh Times" Bale acting and McG directing.

I once didn't have a proper run up while watching Southland Tales, and we had been running low on alcohol prior to the event, so I managed to watch 3/4ths of ST mostly sober. Thankfully supplies were restored and I enjoyed the final 7 hours with a pleasant buzz.

I didn't get to watch Arrested Development when it was originally run on Fox, but I would probably have missed a bunch of jokes from the later episodes while I was seething with rage, so it's sort of a bittersweet mistake.

Gantz

I don't really keep track of the proper showing schedule of "It's Me Or the Dog" so I've probably missed a few episodes.

I hate you. Did you know that?

Also, Harsh Times? What, Batman not good enough for you?

And to Magus, if it had been Parker and Stone, I wouldn't have seen it at all.

To answer the thread again, thinking Indy 4 would be awesome.
