Sitcom Do's and Don'ts
 

Alright, let's say we're an official NPF Sitcom, what would be some important Do and Do Nots to apply to it to make it funny and successful?

I guess that would be a lot like "The Big Bang Theory" but with 10x the cast size and more "gamey"

So, dont's:

1- No guest stars
2- No canned laughter

that's already being off to a good start

1. No stereotypical stupid male figure that loves sports. Instead, lets give him a REAL job and make him an intelligent human being, or very sarcastic... You can choose...

Canned laughter = A laughtrack that plays whenever you're supposed to be laughing. Unless I'm wrong.

Translated sitcoms here in Brazil tend to have a laughtrack even when the original one didn't. Seriously.

Oh yeah I would agree, no canned laughter...

I always thought that the Flintstones used a laugh track ironically, becuase, who would belive that the cartoon was filmed before a live studio audience?

I see The NPF Show being somewhere along the lines of Scrubs with lots of crazy vivid day dreaming.
