Narzgul the Slayer
Finally gott my character up...
Name: Narzgul the Slayer Age: 24 seasons. Race: Wildcat Small family tree: Father- Zerugal Bloodeye / Mother- Narala Swiftpaw / Siblings- Brother: Zeth Gutripper / Sister: Telanas Starcatcher Occupation: Warlord Equipment: He wears a chain mail hauberk with chain mail sleeves to protect his arms, but his hands and legs have no armor so he has freedom of movement. He also wears no helmet, but his long blood red cape makes him stand out from a distance, as does his massive tall and muscular frame that can tear many foes apart with his bare paws. Special skills your character has: Skill with many weapons, including swords, bow and arrow, maces, axes, spears, whips, pikes, and his claws. Also a skilled military tactician, and has learned, as best as he can from elders and seers, what he can of past Warlords like the infamous Cluny the Scourge, Ferago the Assassin, and has even learned of past warriors such as the famous Martin the Warrior, believing in the maxim of knowing your enemy, and being smart enough to know that even his opponents could have things to teach him from history. A short bio: He was born to his parents, and into a small tribe of warriors from the north. His father, a famous Warlord in the mountainous northern regions. After his birth, he quickly showed himself to be a powerful warrior even at a young age, showing himself to most likely surpass his older brother for control of the vermin army their father commanded. They argued and fought multiple times, but after their father died, Narzgul knew that his brother would never give up, and that the death of his brother would only lead to a loss of morale since he was a popular Warlord, and most likely more internal power struggles and assassination attempts on his own life. He instead left with a portion of the horde that would rather follow him, and headed for the coast. There, he gathered nearby vermin that wanted a better life elsewhere, and composed some ships and headed out in search of a place he could rule over on his own. He found it in the isle of Tell-Barat, a tropical paradise with forests and food to last a lifetime. However, Narzgul wanted more then just an island, and went to work creating a fortress with a stone quarry he found on the island, and building more ships with the generous wood supplies. His half completed fortress and three ship fleet are now a thing to be feared, as well as the army of corsairs he commands from previously roaming ships and his elite creatures he took with him from the north. As time passed, his greed and lust for power grew, and he began to hunger again for the lands he left behind when his brother forced him out. He is now marshalling his ships, with plans to return to the Mountains and rip control of the Horde from his brother, so he can reclaim their father's sword from him since the sword was destined to belong to the one that lead the horde... Starting location: The tropical island of Tell-Barat, in the ocean. The closest landing point is near the Southern Woods, far below Mossflower... |
Why do all of his family members have different last names?
And now I want a third, evil character so I can have my lizard... |
Because in the Redwall books, it doesn't always seem like normal last names. They are more battle titles then last names, although the father and mother should have had the same last name at least since in the book Mossflower, the children did all have the same last name Greeneye.

Looks fine to me.
Hmm... if that's true, he can't be too far from my army... |
That was partially the point. He left the mountains a long time ago, and before he knew a lot about the sea he went way off course finding an island that was suitable for a fortress and to begin his new empire. When he heads off with his war fleet, it will land somewhere in the south wood, although I don't know if it would be north of you and my guy would miss your army, or if it would be south and a stumble into that whole conflict, I'll decide later.

Permission to come aboard Sah!
Howdy all!
I stumbled across this site quite by accident and am very glad I did. I'm an old hat to RP'ing, but have never done much of the "forum" RP. After looking through the many different options (27 pages worth), only this and the WH40k threads caught my eye. I was wondering if I could join in on this and let it be my first venture into the realm of the "forum rpg." If so, I'll try to be as little of a nuisance as possible (in the n00b aspect of things at least... =D ). I've worked out a few character concepts though they still need a bit of fleshing out. I noticed that you wanted to put a limit on the Badgers in the game and that there is also already a Badger around. So I'll keep that as a second option, I guess. The character snippits I have whirling round my head so far, are: 1) A sickly, young mole lad who, annoyed with the sheltered life his parents have forced him to lead, has left his den with only his trusty poplar staff as a traveling companion. 2) An absent-minded, middle-aged, hedgehog sire. Once a slave of a band of evil Foxes, he was forced to fight in gladatorial-type games for his survival. Obviously he has escaped slavery, but not without a few costly blows to his "thinker". and (this one is the one I kind of hoped on playing so it's a little more cohesive, concept wise...) 3) A stout, broad shouldered, Badger lad out to re-earn the trust of his father. As a boy he was constantly the bane of his father and mother, always causing as much trouble as he could get away with, and sometimes more. After one stern punishment after another, he finally decided to just venture out on his own. Meeting two ferret twins who were after his own heart (no pun intended, they tried to kill him in his sleep) he decided that these were the kind of people he wanted to be like. Years passed as he traveled with a small band, until one night, the ghost of his mother (recently passed away) appeared to him, begging him to return to his father. Having a miraculous change of heart he decided to return home. Now home, and after his father learning of his rencent past, he is questing to seek the one thing that he cannot take. The words of his father calling him "son" again. Thats what I have so far. I hope to hear back from you guys soon! |
