FF1 and 2 to The GBA
Just read it sounds rad

Meh, I've already played thru both many, many times in their various incarnations. I'm just wondering when the hell they'll do an official NA release of FF3. Seems like GBA is the only likely candidate for that, since it seems as though the PSOne is on life support now; It had less than 20 games released last year that I can remember, and the only one this year of note is MLB2005.

I'm looking forward to this. I was too cheap to buy Origins, and now I'm glad I was. I've played 1, but not 2 yet, so that'll be a first for me. As for FF3, that will mean we will finally have (legally) all the FF games available, which is a milestone in itself.

Well, it's half good, cos it's like a portable origins, and half bad...because it's a portable origins. They JUST re-released them! Please, can't they understand how fanatical we'd be if they released ffiv-vi on the gba?!

Acording to this, there's going to be new stuff added. This kind of pisses me off, because they just re-released it last year, and now they're doing it again with new stuff added. Geez. They should have done that in the first place. |
My friend (whose uncle is head of the ff department at square) told me that they are still deciding whether or not to make some of the earlier ff's on cell phones.

I'm not too happy that the newest incarnation of FF1 and 2 will be published under the name of SquareEnix. I've got nothing against the merge, mind you. I just think the name sounds crappy. :p
But yeah, I'll probably get this and Origins (I don't have it yet) since both have features not in the original game. |
What the heck? http://www.the-magicbox.com/0404/game040804e.shtml The light warriors are fighting the.... Phantom Train?????? Not only that, it looks like they are fighting it inside a building, without railroad tracks. The absurdity of this, plus the unoriginality of the programmers, has caused my mind to snap like BM's spine.

WTF? This has to be a joke. On the lost levels (http://lostlevels.org/)'s article on the lost final fantasy, they say artists often made mock ups of what might be in the game.

When you fight the phantom train in six, if memory serves, there are no tracks in that battle scene. Maybe it's a magic train that runs like a car?
