Gamecube of Doom
 

I just bought a Gamecube and I feel frightened and alone. Why oh Why do I get this feeling when I look at the new little blue box in my life? Should I be feeling this dirty? Should I tell a friend or loved one what I've done? Could it be because it mocks me with no DVD Capabilities or the fact that the Discs are the size of a half dollar? Dear Gods....Did it just move...?

i kind of like the concept of offline gaming machines - with a computer, setting up your net connection is sort of like a test to keep the complete morons from getting on. Of course, microsoft stopped that, because any idiot can make it work under XP. Stupid microsoft. (thief would be proud of how they can make xboxers pay for net access twice tho)

The Gamecube has no DVD capability? Blech. Yet another reason I'll never touch the thing...

Game cube is worth it. Look at the titles you get:
SSB:M - There are already about 3 threads in this forum about it, so you know it's good.
LoZ: the Wind Waker - greatest....boss...ever...
FF: Crystal Cronicles - It's from Squaresoft. Need I saw more?
SC: Ghost - Nuclear Launch Detected. :)

And the only Star Wars game that didnt suck.

The Cube isn't bad just because it doesn't have a DVD drive. It has loads of excellent games. I have a PS2 and Cube, and frankly, I spend more time playing on the Cube than I do playing on the PS2 or watching DVDs with it. So yes. The Cube is most DEFINATELY worth it.

Gamecube is worth it. There are a lot of good titles (SSBM, Mario golf, Legend of Zelda the Wind Walker (Soon the Wind Walker 2), FF Crystal Chronicles).

Also If you get a gamecube now, you get a free zelda disc which has the original Legend of Zelda, Zelda 2, Legend of Zelda Ocarnia of Time and Legend of Zelda Majora's Mask.

Bottom line: It's worth it.

But...But...its so small and evil! I locked it in my closet, but I know its still watching me. Whispering to play it. Play me Derek, Play me...oh wait thats X-box! I would X-box if only your controllers fit my hands!

Besides, the PS2 or X-Box can't compete with most decient DVD players out there.
