Saw the first link and was like, hahaha, oh man, that's a pretty clever joke.

Then I saw the second and was like, um, wait, you can't be serious. Someone please tell me Kotaku is just really, really stupid and give me a link to some jackass' admittance of guilt.

Agreed. I saw the first one and I thought it looked like someone made a pretty in-depth WoW mod, or at least a good photoshop. I mean... some of those icons at the bottom look pretty familiar.

And then the second, with the concept art... I'm really glad this was cancelled, actually. All those alien races? And I don't think I saw many from the actual Covenant. Most of them were just made up.

...Bleh. Terrible idea. If only this had been put up around April, then maybe I would've had some hope that it was an elaborate hoax.

You do know that after WoW was released Blizzard basically rewrote every bit of lore they had ever devised, right?

I'm so glad it was never released. I mean, I enjoy seeing the hardcore Halo crowd in pain, but that was just terrible.

We've all seen master chief. Well I'm not shocked about Mistress Chief. I'd even say it's fitting considering the shields were the only thing protecting the spartans...

It looked like WoW, but in the FUTURE! I would have played the free trial and been like... no... I got better things to do.

I wouldn't even have gone that far. It looks completely awful, like, hey let's see if we can cram WoW into Halo or Halo into WoW or whatever.
