OOC: And now...Fast Forward!

BIC: Wolf awoke slowly from his much-deserved sleep. He looked over at the clock on the wall. He realized he had been asleep for about 8 hours.

No doubt Beowulf is back from his data gathering mission. he thought as he grabbed his PDAP and turned it on. Sure enough, Beowulf was waiting for him on the screen, tapping one foot impatiently.

"I have never been able to understand how humans can be effective fighters if they have to sleep!" Beowulf said.

"Because AI can't transcend the bounds of the Cyber World." Wolf responded

"Touche"

"Enough aside. What do you have on the installation?"

"Here you go." Beowulf said as a 3D map of the complex appeared on the PDAP screen. "Although it is not as heavily guarded as the KGB HQ, this installation is very well protected. It has numerous AA defenses...all concealed...as well as a decent garrisson of troops. There's also a small airfield for VTOLS, but my cursory scan could not determine if there were any at the base. In any event, Katlin is located in this central structure, along with about 30 other imprisioned humans. Needless to say, we cannot save them all."

"I wasn't planning on it."

"There's also a small problem here."

"What?"

"Coyote has attached two specialists to our mission. Mostly because he wants to make Mastermind look stupid."

"Why is this a problem? In all likelyhood, they'll be AI clones of himself that probably hack security systems."

"Yeah, but he still didn't tell me what the specialists were...I find it odd that you aren't pissed about this."

"Hey, the enemy of my enemy is my friend." Wolf said with a slight grin. "Besides, specialists or no, my deployment method hasn't changed."

"Which is?"

"I'm going to have KAMO pilot Daishi In NOE mode to the base...he'll land the OTAV in mech mode well out of sensor range, and in low-power mode. I'll exit the mech, and infiltrate the base, rescue Katlin, with your assistance of course and leave via Daishi. After all, there are two seats in the OTAV.

"It's a good plan. But where do the specialists fit in?"

"If my guess was right, then you should work with these specialists to disable base security, as well as Mastermind's control porgrams on Katlin. Their help should make things quicker and easier."

"Hmm...you're right. So when do we leave?"

"In 30 minutes. I need to prep for this."

There came a knocking sound from Wulf's PDAP. two crying infants in special forces garb appeared. A demonic looking coyote appeared. "MAGIC WAND MAKE MY CHILDREN GROW!"

A pentagram appeared around the infants and Coyote disappeared. The babies grew to adulthood in seconds now the special forces coyotes laughed.

"50 j00 4r3 W01ph." one said.

"P1345ur3 70 m337 j00." the other said.

"W3 4r3 l337 4g3n75 Tyc#0 4nd G4b3."

Dizziness and euphoria. These are the only things Wraith feels now. Sitting cross-legged in his room, arms folded in his lap and head hung low, he drifts into a deep meditation interrupted only by a soft alarm. He slowly reemerges from his subdued consciousness and opens his eyes, casting them on the tiny clock by his side, then blinks and listens to it beep quietly for a moment, waiting for things to come back into focus physically and mentally before he picks it up and turns it off.

It's time.

OOC: Time for what? What I says!!!

BIC: Jade woke up feelng refreshed. Sleep to her was a luxury, and when she was able to get it, she appreciated it a lot. After showering and changing clothes, she walked to the hospital ward to give Monk a piece of her mind for following them into the Cyber World.
