*For those who don't know I'm already a tall black guy with a huge affro, though I look nothing like Samuel Jackson.

If anyone has a better ideal I will gladly accept it.

Shave your head and tell people you've had it with these motherfucking snakes.

Still Samuel L. Jackson, but it's an alternative that a lot of people would probably get.

You can be Phil LaMarr, and thus every animated black man ever.

Hey Selfish. Check your PMs.

I want you to do a crotchet headgear for me, and details are within PM box.

Progress Report!

Planning: 100%
Material Acquisition: 60%
Manual Labor: 30%

Overall: About halfway done! Maybe if I get done with some time and money to spare I can procure a wig with long, white hair.

Today I am Megaman, but soon I am RED MAGE!

I'm just wondering, did the Team Rocket Grunts have anything on their face in the anime? I vaguely remember a shadow or a mask or something like that.

Pip Boy 10-01-2008 01:49 PM

Nope, just a hat that shaded their eyes.

You could be the first-level EBA guy... Or the one I call "Wingman."

Or you could do Nabeshin from Excel Saga, though he isn't black, but he's got the 'fro, and if you have the red suit and the 'fro, it's probably enough.

Super easy: You just need a trenchcoat, a fedora, a pair of sunglasses or black goggles, gloves, and some cloth bandages. A trip to a second hand store for the clothes and walmart for the bandages does it all. Bandage up your head, wear the goggles to cover your eyes and the hat to cover any loose hair, the trench disguises your figure... Basically no one knows who the heck you are, what gender you are, and whether you should really be there or not. It's seriously the most hilarious and awesome super-easy costume ever. ESPECIALLY if you remain silent and just respond to people with shrugs and nods. FREAKS PEOPLE OUT.

Best way to sneak into Halloween parties EVER.

In all seriousness, I may steal this for this year, being newly a broke college student. Other options are GIR (Awesome, but would look goofy human-sized and -shaped) or old-school Willy Wonka (I have the hair for it).

If I can get my hands on something inexpensive and vaguely resembling a keikogi, I plan on spraying my hair blue and going as Akane Tendo. Barring that, I guess I could spray my hair green, wear brown clothes, and tell people I'm a Dryad.

As for Samantha, I'd like to dress her up in one of those frou-frou dresses that everyone insists a baby girl should wear, getting little points for her ears, and some sort of head decoration and saying she's baby Princess Zelda...or maybe baby Princess Daisy(she'd need a yellow dress, no points, and a tiara, though). Steve, on the other hand, wants to get her a yellow onesie and ink in the outline of the Green Lantern symbol so he can say she's going as part of the Sinestro Corps.

As for Steve, I don't think he's made up his mind just yet. We've got custody of the store for Halloween, so we're planning a massive party.

(Edited to add linkies!)

Well, picked up my pirate costume today, sword and all. Now to dig the wings and tail out; I may need to run a wire through the latter since the stuffing didn't hold its form as well as I wanted it to
