Regarding the X3 petition on the news.
 

it says "lever burton" wore yellow contacts on star trek for years. BUT burton was a BLIND guy whose eyes we never saw anyways. that's because it was brent spiner playing data who was wearing the yellow contacts.

We did see his eyes and he wore white contacts.

I'd happily sign a petition that keeps Storm out of the movie altogether - it's not like the character was all that important in the last two.

Come to think of it, I'd also sign a petition to keep out any female character whose sole purpose is to have a fancy fight with Wolverine (X1: Mystique, X2: Deathstrike; it gets old). If anyone comes across one of those, kindly direct me to it.

But Mystique was so cool in the second movie.

What does this have to do with X3?

I was wondering precisely that, but decided it wouldn't be worth following through... anyway, about Mystique, oh yes she was. That's because in X2 she was an actual character instead of the Token Hot Fighter Chick.

Y'know, the whole petition is pointless, anyway. Halle already stated she would not be returning for X3, so what do we have to fear in the first place? Also, the petition is addressed to the wrong people; FOX Studios does not make the casting calls for the movies, the producer(and in some cases, the director) does. FOX just slaps their name on it to get a cut of the profits. Writing a petition to FOX Studios reguarding something they don't control is not a wise move.

And yes, I'm the "N/A" guy who signed the petition with that exact statement.

I'm glad she won't be back. She was the only one that I saw the actor instead of the character.

Storm is a pretty useless character anyway. I mean, controlling the weather? And she says stuff while doing it. Man, that's lame.
