You know, getting more and more into Warhammer/40k has made me realize how much better their universe is as opposed to Star/Warcraft. My favorite example of this is the Dragoons from SC, which are basically just Terminator/Wraithlord hybrids given a name that was meant for foot infantry trained in horse combat.

But it's okay, cause "dragoon" is a cool word.

This is fucking ridiculous. They do taste like apples, apples are one of the ingredients, appearing as both "dried apple" and "apple juice concentrate." And you know what? Both of these come before the cinnamon, despite the fact that "Cinna-mon," being a tremendous douchebag, just loves to act like he's the main god damn ingredient.

So Kellogs is going on and on for years about how it doesn't taste like apples, when this is all just a big lie.

BUT WAIT.

Now there are new commercials, which portray both the apple and the cinnamon as major ingredients. So after all these years of spewing that bullshit mantra of "it doesn't taste like apples" they just decide to go back on their word and nobody says anything?

This is an outrage.

You guys have cereal ads where all the ingredients run around as people.......... Oh man, that's genius. I can just see the little MSG kids running around, hyperactive and causing troubles.

All this cereal talk has given me either the best or the worst idea ever. A superhero show starring all the cereal characters. Lucky, Tony the Tiger, Cap'n Crunch, etc.

We could call it: Cap'n Crunch and the Defenders of the Crunchiverse

"By the power of artificial sweetener... I HAVE THE POWER!"

Mirai Gen 10-04-2008 05:46 AM

I could see that working provided they have a Captain Planet summon.

"Power of...Crunch!"
"Power of...grrrrrRRREAT!"
"Power of...me charms!"
"Unite to form, by our powers combine...."
OH YEAH!

And for some reason, he breaks through a brick wall. They could be in a forest when they summon him. But he breaks through a brick wall, because it's stock footage.

If you insist you could make Captain Crunch their summon, because he's a Captain and Kool-Aide isn't cereal and all, but I think my idea is funnier inherently.

I'm incredibly sick, but I'm still working, since I'm taking two days off next week for the retailers' summit and can't afford taking anymore unpaid leave. Yahoo for working at a place with no sick days and no paid time off.

Also, one of our former regulars decided that he wants to spend all of his time at a rival store about 10 miles away because they give out cash prizes at the yu gi oh tournaments. Rather than just say that, though, he claimed his little brother lied to his dad and said that Steve yelled at him, so now they can't come to our store anymore.

The longer I live here, the less I like it.

Goodbye zombie sig! :D

I actually like hearing peoples forum histories thank you, and I was just wondering who he was before BFS. Wait, BFS; BHS. Both of them got a name change... nevermind. I thought I was on to some great conspiracy.

I think FenrisWolf's lettuce avatar looks kinda like Altair from Assassin's Creed.

I wouldn't post this if his title said something about it but maybe I just missed a joke.

Oh, that's pretty cool. Glittery names sparkle on the "currently active users" part as well.

I just woke up from a dream where I fought myself, sort of. I think I'm going to go write a story about it and post it in the creative thinking forum.

Also, my good sir, that is a cabbage.

Just gonna remind you guys who thought of the glitter-name concept.

I should collect royalties or something.
