Supernatural
So... season four is shaping out to be the defining season of this series as it is made of teh awesome.
Honestly, it is fast overtaking Smallville and Heroes in my favorite shows. They've done an amazing job moving from small issues to bigger issues to battles of epic proportions. |
I've got to agree that so far this season is pretty good. I was a little worried how they would handle the introduction of angels into the mythos, but so far they've been doing a very good job with it.
The episode on Thursday was very good. It gave the double of bonus of answering a lot of questions and showing yellow eyes in action again. Not to mention answering why Sam and the others had their powers. So, yeah...this season is shaping up to be epic. |
I should really try getting back into this series again. I bought season 1 ages ago, and watched about half of season 2 before losing track of it due to boredom. I occasionally catch a few minutes of season 3 when I'm flicking through the channels though and I keep getting strangely intrigued by whatever might be going on.
Maybe I'll pick up season 2 and 3 once I've finished the massive backlog of dvds I've already got to work through. |
I almost feel obligated to chip in and say the only thing I know about the show is that somehow it's about brothers who are probably having sex with eachother.
I should mention that I know this from a couple of (creepy) fangirls. That is all. |
Dude, Dean can do a lot better than sammy...
ANyways, i simply loved this show since season 1 (One of the best Season finale ever), season 2 was ok, but dragged. and Season 3 was pretty awesome and heavy. Havent catch up with season 4 yet, but for what you guys are saying... i wont miss it! The handle the drama very well, and the funny parts are just great ( from the top of my head i recall that one "Bad luck / Good luck rabbitfoot" episode ) But i do hope they give a rest to the whole one of the brothers must die agenda. It was pretty much what made season 2 and 3 plotwise, but now things need to get fresh... |
I've been a fan since the first episode, easily my favorite show on television. Eric Kripke has said that he's planned the show out for five seasons and this season is definately setting the stage for a grand finale. Last week's episode was fantastic, not just because it was a great episode, but for answering several mysteries from previous episodes. And it wasn't even a season finale.

Anyways... they don't. Dean is by and far a ladies man, and in my opinion a much better character than Sam. They had to give Sam super powers to make him interesting... Dean was great being normal. |
Well... sometimes the show gets really "deancentric", which is trully a downer for me, as they both work REALLY well as main guys.
Pus, check youtube for their blooper videos, absolutly fantastic... and sometimes it seems like they are In character all the time XD |
I've...procured the first and second seasons, and will soon pick up the third, so I've lost track of the broadcast of the fourth. I am displeased to hear of the return of yellow eyes, however. Not from an objective standpoint; I just hate the bugger.

YED didn't actually return. Dean went and saw him in the past, found out how he 'chose' kids. Sam was chosen long before he was born, because YED struck a deal with the Winchester mom 10 years previous. He's still dead in the present.
However, the wheels he set in motion... i.e. the psionic-powered kids... is still completely in play, and we're probably soon going to see exactly what YED was trying to accomplish. |
