Real Light Warriors

Anybody wonder whether or not we are going to hear from them again? I imagine that they will be the ones who fight the Real Dark Warriors. I wonder which ones correspond to which.

Thief = Bikke. They are both thieves, one is competent the other not.

Fighter = Drizz'l. They are both Sword Masters. One is intelligent the other thinks that BM is his best friend.

Red Mage = Vilbert. Obvious.

Black Mage = Garland. They both are supposed to be the personification of evil. One is, and the other is into fluffy bunnies and has a sunny disposition. They are also the one's who tend to sabatoge their own parties attempts at victory simply by being themselves.

We saw little of the RWLs but I am going to guess that there will be some sort of correlation between the RLWs and the RDWs.

Sorry, and I think Brian stated as much, but the Dark Warriors do no equal the Light Warriors. You can't even say they're mirror reflections of one another.

Yes, there is some cross-over, in terms of skills & personality, but no DW = a LW. Take Bikke. Personality-wise, he's like a mix of the worst qualities of Fighter & Red Mage. Skill wise, he's dabbles a bit into Thief's deception & leadership, but mostly he's his own class.

Also, the generally excepted name for the real Light Warriors is the Lite Warriors.

Real Light Warriors = Knight, White Wizard, Ninja, Red Wizard
Light (Lite) Warriors = Fighter, BM, RM, Thief
Other Warriors = Ranger, Berserker, Cleric, Rogue
Dark Warriors = Garland, Vilbert, Drizz'l, Bikke

And then you have the Bearded Warriors. XD

Sorry, but no. Brian has specifically stated that the Light Warriors *ARE* Fighter, Black Mage, Thief & Red Mage.

The Lite Warriors are Knight, Red Wizard, Ninja & White Wizard.

Don't make me find direct quotes...

- No I mean really, don't make me look. I've no idea where to start, and I'm too damn lazy. Just trust me, I've been around nearly as long as... well, at least since Garland donned his purple cape (thanks to me). Beyond that, I think I started with the comic involving the Giant.

...

Okay fine, I found you at least one quote:

And I recall him saying something along the lines of what Meister also stated in this very same thread, but this will have to do.

It's been discussed quite a few times though, with varying degrees of interpretation, argumentation and flat out looking only that the character aspects that most befit the poster's point of view.

So there you have it, I have no life & I've been hanging around here way too damn long. I mean, uh... Light Warriors do not equal Dark Warriors.

The question remains though: will we hear from them again? Or did they die in the fire Black Mage started in some comic just before they were shot in Lefein?

So, wait, who is it that we call the 'Right' Warriors?

FloralVikings 10-09-2008 09:57 PM

I always called the "Real" warriors the Lite warriors, because...I dunno. And I think people call them the Right Warriors as well.

Oh, you just had to go and dig that up, now didn't you? :D

I was also thinking, what with the Mr Pibb reference, if we'll get more references to things from long ago.

I do so enjoy that in stories. Creates the illusion of a grand plan.

Mr Pibb and Dr Pepper don't have their periods. The ladies must be envious.

I was under the impression they were both male anyway.
