LANDSHARK!

What do they look like? anyone know? What does they're dramatic killing music sound like? Ideas for landsharks and other mysterious creatures of death should go here.

They look like this:

They sound like the Jaws theme.

Next question!

Pokémon is always avant-garde.

..because I remember that.

Holy shit, Street Sharks.

Oh my God.

Street Sharks was a by-product of TMNT knockoffs. It was perfectly acceptable as a cartoon.

This, however:

Was not.

This show was terrific.

Also, Count Duckula. Motha' fuggin' Dracula duck's in the house with a teleporting castle. Amazing.

I love how this almost fits the 80s cartoon thread (though it's a little late in the decade), but I was just jumping from the duck picture above.

Oh god, Mighty Ducks. I remember that show.

Surprisingly fun for a ridiculously disconnected spin-off.

To get back on topic, D&D has a veritable army of bizarre killing machines.

BEHOLD THE DUCKBUNNY!

Not to mention the lovecraftian horror of the squark (SQUID-SHARK!) and bizarreness of MONKEY-BEES and, perhaps my personal favourite, the FLAIL SNAIL.

I found about all of them in the same article, funnily enough.

For more shark related shennanigans, behold the terlen.

All I know about Landsharks is that when you owe them money (or kittens), you better pay up! And they're also snappy dressers;

Or at least this Loan Shark is.
