Good PS3 exclusives
 

ok so the whole reason i have held off on it, is it lacked enough good exclusives to warrent its price tag. Now rather then worry about what I'd enjoy and what I wouldn't, I'd simply like people to tell me what they would call good games you can only get on the PS3.

To clearify, it isn't exclusive if you will be able to, some time in the future, be able to get it on another console. Nor does exclusive content on the PS3 version make the game itself exclusive. I'm talking games that you cant get in any way, shape, or form except by owning a PS3

I don't even have a PS3 and I'm drooling for a bundle with that game. WipEout HD looks fucking awesome too. I would nominate MGS4 but I didn't like it that much. Maybe you should buy it if you are into Metal Gears.

Yeah I've pretty much had absolutely no incentive to buy a PS3 ever since it's release. Even when it seemed like I would, something changed it. First it was MGS4, then I read Tim Roger's review of it. Then it was God of War 3, then I read David Jaffe isn't even making it. Ico 3 is probably going to push me to that point but we have a single image and nothing else thus far.

But LBP is the point where I'm like, uh, I, um...damn it.

LBP is PS3's equivalent to Brawl, isn't it? :D

yea and if it was the price of a wii it might be enough, but those few extra hundred dollars, no one game is worth that no matter how good

The only games I personally find worth even borrowing a PS3 for (and I currently am doing exactly that) are Metal Gear Solid 4 and Disgaea 3, neither of which are probably interesting if you're not already a fan of the series.

Warhawk.
MGS4.
Wipeout HD.
GoW 3 (Coming soon).
Ico 3 (Coming soon).

Just of the top of my head. Warhawk is without doubt the best of these, and well worth the meager £20 to download. Of course, if you haven't already got an Xbox you can add every other great game to the list as well.

as i said, only ones that aren't available any other way. Also forgot to mention I'm not counting downloadable games, since even if there is no announcement of an alternate way of getting it. Its a safe bet there will be

Well, you can buy Warhawk on a disk, but it's slightly hard to find these days so it's easier to just download. The expansions can only be downloaded though.

Why has nobody mentioned Drake's Fortune? Of PS3 exclusives, its top notch.

Ratchet & Clank: Future is pretty decent. It at least excels on anything done for the PS2, but in essence is still the same ol' R&C.

A good rental/borrow would be Heavenly Sword. Great story, decent action/play, but entirely too short.

And yeah, can't say anything bad about MGS4 & MGO (2 games on one disk!)
