I've heard it was out (I don't keep intouch with the release dates that often). So, does anyone own this game? What do you think of it?

I rented it from work. I will start playing it as soon as I beat Dragon Quest 4.

It looks like fun.

I played it for a few hours when it came out. When you do a special move in a battle, it summons up this Ouendan/EBA-style interface which is pretty rad. Story wasn't the greatest thing around town. It's a decent RPG romp with your fave-rave Sonic and Co - nothing OUTSTANDING. I ended up getting into Disgaea DS instead.

The music throughout the game is horrible though. THE WORST.

Worse than Sonic R?

What, you couldn't keep your feet right on the ground? You didn't have time to look around? You should've run to the point of no return and let the fire burn, dude.

Anyone think this one is the best among the next gen sonic games?

Meh... I wouldn't really be able to put an RPG as DA BEST game in a series of platformers. If only out of principle.

This generation of Sonic is defunct. Bring back Sonic Adventure 2.

It's a bad sign when sega asks another company to make their game for them.
