All things considered, is White Mage a minor character?
How many comics has she appeared in past Black Belt's death? 30? Taking the series as a whole into account, could it not be argued that White Mage is no more important than the Other Warriors or Real/Right Warriors?

Er, she's appeared quite often.

Depends on what definition you are using for main character. The most prevalent definition is "the driving point behind the plot" and considering she created the universe at one point... can't get more driving then that.
Same goes for Sarda and King Steve. After all, the LW would still kill old men in Corneria and play Drownball if they had not been bullied around by those. Of course, there is also the screentime definition. At least for the later third this is debatable but she still has a several hundred strips head start before the real/other warriors. |

Of course white mage isn't as important as the light warriors, exspecially not lately, but I think she still got some special status among the cast. I mean, how many characters of the comic can say of themself to be the creator universe? ;)

White mage is not a minor character in any sense. she is a recurring character that drives the plot forward. If we make this argument, I believe Sarda has less time in comics than she, yet he should be considered a main character. The Right Warriors/Other Warriors however, though recurring, provide more entertainment wise than moving the plot forward. Characters like the Mafia Boss, while they did move the plot forward in a sense, are not recurring. So they woudn't be considered a main character. I believe White Mage would though.

Define 'minor' in a story as long as 8bit.

If that is the definition we are to go by, then White Mage comes not even close to being a minor character. She has played a major role in the past, and is likely to have a very major one in the conclusion.
