That's right everyone! A new CelesJessa RP! (what am I doing making a new RP? I must be crazy!) I've been planning a few RPs for AWHILE now... but I just thought of this one not too long ago.... so... I hope it works out alright!

Anyhoo! To the RP!

As you might be able to guess by it's title, Ragnarok is going to be about the end of the world, and contain a lot of norse mythology. (which I will probably get wrong, so sue me. ^^;; heh.

The realm where this is taking place is Midgard. As the RP is beginning, we are hunting the evil Face Worm*. You don't have to be in the main party when it starts out, but by the end of the first chapter, I want us all to be together.

*Face worm: Monsterous creatures that inhabit remote areas of Midgard. They are named "Face worms" because their heads look like human faces. What appear to be their eyes are actually their mouths. There is a 5,000 Zeny (currency) reward for the Mother Face Worm in the area.

Much MUCH more will happen after that, but you'll just have to find out as you go along!

*NOTE: If you are originally with the group out hunting the Face Worms in the very beginning instead of just running into them or whatever, you came from the kingdom/city of Fayon. Fayon doesn't have to be your HOMETOWN, but that's where the little group who are hunting the Face Worm came from. You are travelling with the heir to the Fayon and helping her train to become a great and powerful leader like her father.



Something that doesn't happen a lot in my RPs is that there will be quite a few NPCs. the Heir to Fayon is one of them, but she will act as my character until my real character comes into the picture. (my character is meeting up with the group late)

Also, in leu of having a bunch of NPCs, there are going to be quite a few "side-stories" every now and then, to tell you what the heck is going on with some of these NPCs and Villains that you will undoubtedly run into sooner or later.

Name: Fenris Fenrir
Age: 18
Appearance: *see picture*
Class: Dark/Black Mage (pretty much a black mage, but can also use blood to summon magic. Some of her more powerful spells require a chant to cast. She has a wide variety of spells, mostly black spells, but she has a few "protection" spells. (no white magic though)
Equiptment: Psychic Medallion: Magic compass which leads its bearer to whatever he/she most desires.
-Weapons: Laevatein, rod of destruction: extends to staff on command, Dagger.
-Armor: *see appearance*
Bio: Fenris searches the land for "Balder's Chosen" so that they can prevent gods and demons from taking control of Midgard... and to stop Freya, who is on the move again after her last uprising 1000 years ago. Fenris acts as a guide for the chosen ones.
Quote: "Ghosts of Valhalla, warriors of order... raise your sheilds, raise them strong... Protect us from evil, protect us from wrong!" (One of her more... cheesier spell chants at the moment. heh)
Extra Notes: Fenris is mostly interested in her destiny and the destiny of the other chosen. She rarely goofs around and tries to keep the group from straying.

So, we get magic items, weapons, and equipment? I shall say right now, whatever you are planning on using Dante, it is to much.

Edit - And the "New and better avatar" statement is only half true.

Man, two end of the world RPs in such a short time? It must be the end of the world! AAAAAAAA!

But seriously, I think I'll be joining up. I don't know, it seems like, in my eye, just another fantasy setting, but I'll join up anyway sine I know your a good GM.

EDIT: I second IHMN on the remark to Dante, otherwise I see us all trying ot match him and ending up with a group of ultra superhumans that cut our way through lesser gods like they aren't there...

Name: Chaos
Age: Twenty-something.
Appearance: (What your character looks like)
Class: Swordsman
Equipment: Vision, Sword of Destruction. Resembles a very long katana.
Bio: Not much is known about Chaos' past, not even to him, given that he is an amnesiac. In his own words, "It's as though I was suddenly spit out of the sky with a sword in my hands." For the past two years, he's been doing the only thing he knows how to do - hunt Face Worms. The techniques he uses instinctively baffle him at times, but given that he can't remember much about them, he just shrugs and carries on with what he does know.

Extra Notes: Chaos is a very relaxed and happy-go-lucky fellow, rather the opposite of Fenris, though he can be pushed to work hard at times. He has good synergy with mages, who can infuse his blade with a spell and trust him to deliver it.

And what exactly does the "Sword of Destruction" do?

Damned if I know, I only read the first book myself. He is capable of crazy Legolas-like stunts, though.

I don't have to to critique any characters at the moment, so you guys can comment on each others characters and such (like IHMN likes to do) but the final decision is up to me.

Dante, so you're basically going to make up what he can do with the sword as we go along?

Celes, a planes walker can freely travel between different planes (Universes). In a fight, it would basically be teleporting. Along with going to a futuristic plane and getting some laser weapons to kill you all.
