It's not really ironic.

Yes... but you like (liked) to point out that there's always a blue mage in the group that saves the world, and that blue mages can use anyone's powers, even outside of the RP forum... meh.

Shush up and lemme enjoy it!

Name: Sangsue Maylr
Age: 23
Appearance: (Don’t feel like making one up, so he looks like Vincent. See picture) Just remove those metal claws on the left hand, and remove the gun.
Class: Life sucking, Blue Mage thingy…
Equipment: A bag full of random items (Compass, spoon, whistle, and more).
-Weapons: None
-Armor: See picture
Bio: (Can’t think of anything, so…) Sangsue was born from two blue mages, had odd power when born, eventually grew up and left home, now is just wandering around.
Quote: “Want to hear a funny story?”
*Sangsue grabs talkers head for a couple of seconds*
“Heard it already.”
Extra Notes: Sang will have random outburst of insanity, talk to himself a little, act funny, and other insane traits.

Alright, finally thought up a decent name(Dart), so now to go back and edit it in...

All nine of us have been edited in. See my above post.

1) In the original Final Fantasy there were no blue mages at all.

2) In Final Fantasy VII there were no true blue mages, and everyone is too busy using KotR to use enemy magic materia.

3) In Final Fantasy IX Quina just sucked.

4) In Final Fantasy Tactics (Original) there weren't any blue mages. Sure, you could learn some things via blue mage style, but no true blue mages were in the group.

5) In Final Fantasy X-2 there were no blue mages since you couldn't get a Ronso. I also refuse to call Gun Mage a blue magic class, even though I liked it better than some.

Blue Mages are cool, but Squarenix hasn't made good use of them, not really. I would love to see the main character be a blue mage, for once.

Edit - IHMN with random bouts of insanity? This does not bode well...

2) I always used blue magic in FFVII. White Wind is always a good spell to use, and there were a coupl eof good attack spells (Like Beta).

3) Quina let you get to high levels early on with level 5 death, so I found a use for her.

5) Gun mage is a blue mage, get over it.

2) You tend to be one of the few exceptions, IHMN.

5) Nope. They used a special gun to copy the attacks; true Blue Mages cast it themselves.

3) All characters have a use; it's just that some are more annoying to use than others. Quina is very high on that list for me.

Sounds more chaotic and powerful. Would you want to be an pansy-ass "berserker" or a tough-as-nails "berzerker"? It's the diff between "Ug smash!" and "Ug want world peace..."

I liked FFVII blue magic too. I used it more than blue magic in most games... mostly because I don't have the patience to go and get attacked by everything just to learn abilities... but white wind and beta kicked ass. Beta especially, because you could learn it relatively early on.

Edit: Dante, you're insane. Also, it's Darilk, not Darlik... just to be annoying.
