The CCF was Gary Gygax's favored charity during his life, and he frequently donated to them. So, in honor of Gygax, they raised money for the charity this year at Gencon.

Only to have it turned down, because of the fact that D&D gamers are Satanists.

They should be fucking ashamed of themselves. By doing this, they failed to uphold everything a charity should be doing, because of bigoted, wrong conceptions.

EDIT: Fisher House took the money after the CCF rejected it, so three cheers for them.

Its nice to see they let their ignorance get in the way of funds to help they children they advocate for. Good thing there are plenty of other worthy charities to give my satanic money too. That really is sad.

I'm just glad that the money was not wasted. I'm sure it will help many people!

Moving to general, this is not discussion because there's nothing to discuss. CCF is more worried about appearance than helping people.

By the way, why did they take Gary Gygax's money all that time? If we gamers are satanists, wouldn't that make Gygax at least a high priest?
