Idea For Brian While Playing "City Of Heroes"
Brian you just GOTTA make a Black Mage superhero version when you play CoH.
I was recently reading up on this game and kept thinking how cool it would be if I could copy BM for the role. I mean SURE he can't be evil but still it could be fun. Unfortunatly, I'm cheep and not buying an online game that I have to pay monthy for. If YOU did it though, I have a template. He'd be a blaster/mystic type and if you pick the Lightning primary power (alas fire doesn't have the proper spell) you can get a lightning ball (forget exact name) that had a VERY similar effect to Hadoken. you could possibly pick the fire mastery as your second ability. I couldn't find a detailed listing on secondary powers as apperently they are being tweaked since thy don't work as they should but I'm sure you can look them over. Anywho after you get that together you have to tell us all about the adventures BM hero will have there. How cool would THAT be? Wheeeeeee... :bmage:. |
Brian couldn't make a decent looking BM character -- no robes at all. The closest you can get is baggy clothing.

I'll get city of heroes if they add super-villanosity to it. I want to raze things, not save them.

I imagine you could "accidently" raze more things then you think. There is always collateral damage when superheros are around!
And as for topic, why would Brian want to spend -more- time on a character in his comic when there will always be a couple dozen people perfectly willing to do bad imitations of him in game? Just watching a friend play ffXI I swear I saw six BM personality wannabes running around in a half hour. |
I was playing Everquest the other day, and I saw some 8-Bit references. I was having fun chatting in the out of character channel while I was killing things, when I suddenly saw a guy ask if anyone could use his stabbity goodness. I thought to myself, "Stabbity... where have I heard that before?" I sent a message to the guy, "8-Bit fan, huh?" Turns out I was right. He then found out that I was a necromancer and wanted me to run around the zone acting like black mage while he followed me as fighter. I said no and continued killing things. Felt kinda bad about rejecting him like that, but I gotta get my necromancer up to a level where he's actually useful to the guild I'm in. Maybe some other time :).

So What kind of Black Mages were these? Tarutarus or human?

Isn't City of Heroes in the Beta Testing? I was watchin Xplay, and theysaid it was. They might Bring the Villian Stuff though

Yes, but they have gone gold and are basically done with the game until release... in fact the NDA was lifted only a few days ago.
So no villains until at least an expansion pack. |
