So I watched the Death Note Rewrite director's cut thing today.

I think they managed to make the ending worse. That's some feat.

^^^Spoilers please; share them.

Sins is a reboot. You don't need to know shit about it.

It's normal to not know what the hell is going on.

If you really need to know anything from the first series: Casshern beats up robots. The end.

Also, Friender transforms into cool crap like submarines, jets, and drillers. Sadly, this is not carried over in Sins. :(

Death Note Rewrite spoilers:
Some implicitly short period after Light beats L, Ryuk kills him. Out of boredom or something, I guess. Does include some fun scenes of Light getting all up on L's grave and shouting at him, and also more explicit death scenes for his Yotsuba kills (suicides yay).

Everything else is mostly the same, except instead of wiping and massaging each other, L gets ridiculously close to Light as they watch Misa's Kira tapes in a private movie theater.

Casshern really is the closest we'll probably get to a GOOD Megaman anime.

Cheers. Also: My anime list is also in my sig. You have officially watched more than twice as much anime as I have.

There's more Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei?! Why did nobody tell me about this?! D=

The show got pretty popular in a scant two years, I should say. I'm so sad this will never get an official translation.

Also, obligatory RUMBA >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> BURE comment.

I am totally digging the new Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei. Haruhi and Lucky Star references for the win. And the new intro, with Rumba as the song, kicks so much ass.

Soul Eater is surprisingly good. It's really well animated and the character relationships are endearing.

I was put off by how predictable it was in the beginning. I mean, hey, if the next soul you eat isn't a witch or you fail this mission, you have to start all over. Hmmm, I wonder what will happen by the end of this episode?

Art style is wicked cool though.

I dropped at episode ten because no relationships were being developed. It seemed to follow the normal shounen path of introducing a shitload of characters and never focusing on anyone for more than an episode. Does it get better after it?

Hurm? I thought the expanded Yotsuba deaths and L's funeral thing were just some extra scenes. I wasn't aware of a "rewrite."

I've been considering watching it for a while now, seeing as so many people cosplay it. I'm rather lazy though and probably won't get around to it for a while.
