Or is Clevinger's work on Atomic Robo taking away from 8-Bit? Don't get me wrong, I love AR, and I'm glad he's got such a fun (and successful) project going on. Yet, at the same time, I can't help but feel that 8-Bit's quality has taken a hit of late due to the time he sinks into AR.

If nothing else, I just want 8-Bit to end with the same quality and flair we grew to love.

Shit like this just makes me want to end 8BT prematurely so everyone will stop freaking out about a perceived drop in quality. Everyone knows we're near the end, so suddenly every single moment that doesn't run screaming toward that conclusion is viewed as filler or stalling when it's just the characters being as dumb as they've always been.

Preparing the readership that 8BT would one day end was probably the stupidest thing I've ever done, because now everyone's anticipating huge climatic moments around every corner. Sorry, folks, it'll happen when it happens.

Whatever forget that guy, everyone knows that the comic really started falling apart after the class change, when Clevinger totally ran out of ideas and had to start fillering his comic with stuff like Black Mage having sucky blue magic (when we all know he should have had totally awesome blue magic, because Black Mage is awesome!) and Thief "stealing his costume from the future". Yeah right - more like stealing his costume from the truth Brian doesn't want you to know!

Man okay I don't know what that dude is talking about because we all know that this comic went to pot as soon as they crossed the bridge out of Corneria, and Brian just threw out the epic adventure this comic was SUPPOSED to be in favor of making some kind of I don't know, gag comic or something.

Throwing out totally plot-critical cast members like Sara and King Steve in favor of letting some bunch of NOBODIES like Matoya and Bahamut and this "Sarda" guy drive the plot. And then we have that Chaos demon show up and never hear from him again like the whole thing was some sort of one-off gag or something like that! Yeah this whole comic is a one-off gag - and the punchline is THE TRUTH!

Jesus what a bunch of Johnny-come-latelies. I've been bitching about this comic's irreversible downward spiral ever since those fuckers Red Mage and Thief turned up, totally displacing the original cast and ruining everything!

Hey here's a question for you "Brian Clevinger" - why haven't we seen Black Mage's copy of the Nintendo Power Final Fantasy Strategy Guide since episode 7? Sounds to me like someone's trying to hide something. Like maybe... THE TRUTH?!?!?!?!?!

Correction: making Fifth a mod was the stupidest thing I ever did, because now everyone knows THE TRUTH :(

I'm sorry I voiced an opinion on a forum. An opinion which I implied I was questioning ANYWAY.

Sheesh.

I'm just tired of people getting so antsy about the ending. Ever since I announced that it would happen eventually people have been obsessed with why it isn't happening right now. It's gotten to the point where I just want to release a comic with an explosion that says "the end". It's a pet peeve, so I get uppity about it. Just don't tell me that you figured out how to bring Black Belt back, and we'll be fine.

Also, Robo a "time sink"? 1) I work on 8BT and Robo on separate days so neither has the ability to take up the other's time. 2) 8BT is what's in the way of everything else. I could be writing multiple comics in print and online were it not for 8BT.

Then what you want is impossible. At least half the charm of the early episodes comes from your discovery of them. There is no way to recapture that feeling with the same product, it doesn't matter how good or bad it is relative to the discovery phase and there's nothing I can do about that. Put another way: it's amazing to discover Plutonium, but it's significantly less interesting to discover it the 600th time.

I was completely unaware of these facts which completely derail my feeble opinion. That sentence will read like sarcasm, but it contains none by intention.

I apologize, and in no way meant to devalue the work that you do, though I see now that my original post would read very negatively.

In conclusion: Please feel free to stone me; you might knock some sense into me.

Edit: Oh, and I don't WANT BB to come back. If anything, I'd approach you with plans to bring him back to life just to kill him, or perhaps to humiliate his corpse(s) even more.
