And I'm assuming Firion's EX-burst will involve, at the very least, hexa-wielding? Where'd he learn that?

Looking at FF2, he had a choice between:
Swords
Knives
Axes
Spears
Bows
Unarmed (gloves?)
Shields
Staves

Disregarding shields because you couldn't actually attack with them and unarmed combat because that negates the point of weapon fighting, he has just enough skill to use everything else available in his game, aka hexa-wielding. On the other hand, staff and mace weaponry was grouped as one, and while I don't remember any hammers, per se, they're a staple of FF. Looking at other likely weapons, he could easily use one of each major weapon to make a repeated appearance in the entire series. That's a lot of options.

I'm just confused though that if he uses all his weapons same time how in the heck he can shoot with his bow too? You need two arms to shoot properly with a bow! I mean it's not impossible to wield many meelee weapons at the same time but a bow too? Too crazy.

And now I can go and start hitting my head on wall because I sounded stupid here, ouh yeah.

I'm talking not about how he can use a bunch of different weapons. I'm talking about how his ex-burst seems to involve handling six weapons at the same time. Burtz at least uses magic so that the swords hover around him, Firion is above that.

Oh, that's easier to argue actually.

Huh. Shantotto in EX mode isn't in Black Mage Relic, but the earlier, original Artifact armor(AKA the stuff Relic was based off of).

Seems to fit, since Artifact Armor was based on the original look of the jobs in FF(And uh, fit the colors, unlike Relic).

Oddly enough, Magic Burst is a game mechanic in FFXI that any spellcaster can use, not just Black Mages.

This may have nothing to do with game, but oh god :gonk:

The game isn't even out yet and the merch has started.

But wasn't every chacter in FF2 able to cast magic? Basically he could have saved his magic tricks to be able wield all those weapons at once.
If wizard did it why couldn't wizard be able to do that?

But hey Square, there wouldn't be this kind of problem if there would already be Gilgamesh in the game.

I bet he does something along the lines of Ike's Aether attack. Or maybe even Great Aether. Meaning, he throws his weapons into the enemy, uses others once his hands are free, and maybe draws weapons back out to use them again afterwards. An Ex-Burst that's just an epic quicktime event? I'd be surprisingly fine with that.
