Kia looked up at the man who gave her a coat, "w-What happened?" She asked him. She wasn't sure if this man would have any clue, but she could hope.

"It seems like the world ended."

Kia looked at the man in disbelief, "This isn't a time to be joking." She looked around, "Are there any other survivors? I can't find my parents..."

"I wish I was joking." He said. "Feel how it got so much colder. This is a nuclear winter. It's going to get alot colder." He held her close as he led her up hill. "There were some people up the hill let's go and meet them.

Joel continued his jorney and after a little time he heard a car horn. "Finally there is someone." Joel started running in to the direction of the sound. Joel could now see the car and some people near it. There was a little girl and some other people as well. "Hey! Hello! Hwo are you?" Joel yelled as he run towards the car. "Are you ok?"

ooc: Just came back from a scouting camp so I couldn't post anything yesterday.

Dante was still walking. There were definatly sounds of people in this dirrection. Maybe they'd have the D-batteries for his Mag-lite. Or maybe they'd have a Mag-lite, 'cause he forgot his.

But hopefully they'd still be there. That was the main goal now, after all.

"But..." Kia said, looking around, "How could it be a nuklear winter?" She asked as she made her way up the hill, "And what was the bright light that filled up the sky before all of this happened?"

"It's only a guess, but it was a solar flare. It's the only way this makes sense to me."

OOC: Of course he is going to think solar flare... I mean being bombed is just ridiculous, but giant solar flares make perfect sense...

IC:

Derek finished doing whatever he should do to the burned victim to make her better. Getting out of the car and closing the doors, Derek turned to everyone else. "Anyone else hurt?

(That must have been one hell of a solar flare...)

Dante had was now fully confident that he had just walked in a circle. The sounds of people must have come to him on a wind, because they were gone now. Dante sighed, and took a deep breath.

"WHERE IN THE LIVING FUCK IS EVERYONE?"

And with that, he calmly awaited a reply.
