ooc: Physics classes involve the study of electricity. If you look on his skills he has physics listed. He knows what causes an Aurora. He saw an Aurora and a shit load of light hit the moon.

OOC: Gauze is a type of bandage that absorbs more blood than a band aid let's say. It's also kind of thin, so you basically only use it for patients who are bleeding.
