Why do people still go on Jerry Springer?
I was just wondering. I mean for years, every guest that has been on Jerry, a fight breaks out. I don't know why these people still go on the show. I mean, I you get called to do the show now, You know something bad is going to happen. What do you all think?
|
Because they get $20 and a chance to degrade themselves on TV.
You'd have to be an idiot NOT to do it! |
They want to fight and swear.
They get money. They get a free, payed trip to where ever the show is broad casted. |
Because they are camera whores that want their fifteen minutes of fame.
|
But still. I understand when the show first started, but now its just stupid. "Mom Im gay. And a woman now" Fight. I wouldnt go on if I got something saying to come. I would be like "Screw this"

I had always thought/think presently that the show's about as real as professional wrestling.
|
At least in professional wrestling you don't get the horrifying possibility that they mean what they say.
Besides, half the people going on the show haven't been through middle school, couldn't read a packet of Mac and cheese, and tend to sleep with anything and everything. Why not take it to the next level? Besides, the springer show had its moment in the limelight, just like all the others. Remember the movie? *shudder* I try not to. |
well, hey, it provides amusement factor for us. Nothing is more entertaining than bashing the Jerry Springer show over things like Austin Powers and such. However if you actually WATCH the show, it's pretty bad....
it's sad that more people make fun of the show more than people watch it. |
Most those people on there are strange. One skinny guy who's girlfriend is about 200 pounds bigger than him is mad because he is cheating on her with an even bigger girl. *shudders* The other day I woke up and there was this huge guy fighter with a skinny guy over a chunky girl.

I always figured for the most part, it isn't real. I mean, i'm sure some of them are real situations, but they blow them up. Pay them to fight or what not. I saw a spring break episode a couple years ago, this couple made up a whole situation. They thought it would be 'fun'. If I remember right, they weren't even dating. Springer thought it was real. I've never really paid attention to the show much. The only thing I find remotely interesting is how at the end of every show, he trys to rationalize it. Trying to make it seem like its a intelligent show.
