We like the moon!!

Ya know those annoying hamsters from Quiznos Subs commercials? Well, click here and be amazed(or scared)

synkr0nized 04-15-2004 09:29 PM

Ha, I knew where those monkies were from the instant I first saw the commercial for the subs.

I thought it was a commercial for his website, at first.

Oh, they are monkeys, not hamsters. And I find it hilarious, not annoying.

I thought they were mice or something along those lines. Either way, their voices kinda irratates me, and I could still hear them after the commercal ended.

That commercial changed my life.. I'll never eat at quiznos, but I'll never forget it, either...

Those things just had to be the worst idea for a commercial ever. Ever I say! I kid you not, I was half asleep the first (And thankfully only time) I'd seen that Quiznos commercial, and when I woke up I believe I said, "What the hell is this?!" It was just such a horrible, horrible idea for a commercial, that I too basically said, "I'm not eating anymore Quiznos after seeing that..."

I had seen the website a good while before the commercial came out.. so I was kind of amused when I first saw it.

But I'm a Subway man, myself.

That was good, but the TV spots were better. Still, I liked it.
But not as much as cheese.

I have but one question, why does it say "The Spongemonkeys try and cash in on th kittens success" at the top of the window?

Forever Zero 04-16-2004 08:44 PM

Probably because VH1 I believe had a really, really weird commerical for a while that featured kittens singing current popular songs. They jumped around and their mouthes moved with kitten groupies popping up, and it was in that same choppy bizarre format the Spongemonkeys use....

I love rathergood.com. I found out about Mclusky and Elbow from the kitten music videos.
