I could post a question in General, but I've been doin' that a lot lately. Seriously, the next one was gonna be "How do they get the caramel into the Caramilk?" But then I remembered I just bought Sam & Max for the Wii, so forget posting anything for the next ever.

I was considering such a thread yesterday, thinking of how I never start threads. Then the nerd-powers of Saturday called.
We were going to play D&D, but instead one friend had work, two couldn't come since the buses are striking, and one didn't want to walk for an hour and a half in this icy weather. I have decided they're all wuss for not manning it through the cold. So instead lone new friend (exempt from the above-mentioned wuss label) and I went over around 1pm and we and my DM (friend also) watched Hellboy while fervently talking about WotLK and 4th edition. Until around 7pm. |

Fifth already has a character sheet somewhere. Assholery and Improved Assholery were key powers of his if I recall.

As such, I played DnD(I double-double-double crossed two lords into killing each other and stealing their everything in the vaults while they were fighting), and this. Take that as you will, now I'm going to bed because that was an intense battle, despite what it looks like. |

At the moment, I am working (two computers, one desk FTW!), checking emails, checking forums, and working on some shirtless Sebastian Shaw wallpaper. |
I met with friends and we drank a very large amount of beer and watched The Pick of Destiny.

Hey neat. Were you just learning from listening to it, or did you go find sheet music or from a friend, etc.?
Back when I tried to play guitar, I used to go looking for game music tabs to learn. For a while I was OK at playing Terra's theme and the main theme for FF VI. Not that it was all that complicated. |
I am completely tone deaf.
I also read music at the speed of molasses. (Not a good admission for a classically trained-ish guitarist, but hey, we have ways of making it work.) It was a time-consuming process involving an arrangement of the piece and a lot of squinting. |

I've been playing Yoshi's Island! But I beat it this morning.
Tonight, tomorrow, and the day after I will be rocking out on Rock Band (1 and 2), baking christmas cookies, making christmas presents, playing Left4Dead, possibly beating Super Mario World, and just plain partying with my group of friends. It will be glorious. |
Okay seriously what the hell, I order 430 bucks in computer parts yesterday and it's no trouble but today I realize I need a power supply and go to order it, but my card fails to authorize? The fuck?
