Something light-hearted needs to happen after that fight, that's for sure.

Definately agreeing with Phil.

HMMMMMM.

With poorly defined magic after its defenses have been taken down.

I should really write up a listing of utility magic it can be assumed that you can produce somehow. Or perhaps people would prefer to be a little more piecemeal in what they can do, but it would still be handy as a reference...

How do you expect a weapon to react?

Like a god damn teddy bear!

Also, all projectile attacks are now to be replaced with hugs!

But, it sounds like that approach might not be needed. The flower’ll get sealed one way or another at this point.

O RLY?

Yeah, it probably will.

Well, I leave for a holiday in another country within the next day, so I'm afraid things are probably going to be semi-hiatused until the 13th. Hmm, thirteen. Now that's not ominous at all.

Have to see how it plays out.

For future reference, if people forget:

I'm helpful! :D

PhoenixFlame 12-31-2008 11:34 AM

Since they've little power to do anything else, Akari's going to begin a lesser collection spell and also provide (A more stable form of) transfer capabilities for anyone involved so Alex can do this.

Teal Mage 12-31-2008 06:38 PM

Bah, I don't need machines to link powers. =D

Anyway, the Verda should feel free to respond mentally. But, I really need to think of an androgynous alias for Alex. Red? He's wearing a bit of red. Priestess sorta works, 'cause of how he's dressed, but it does give the wrong impression.

Oh, did the flower expand its own phantom zone yet? It did last time.

Arhra 01-14-2009 08:37 AM

Hmmm, no Phantom Zone just yet.

Also, hello, I am back from holidays!

I had wanted to post today but I thought it might be better to consult with one or two people first.

The main issue I wanted to be careful about was the response to Alex's demands. I was tempted to have Mitsuko respond by putting her Device into sealing mode. That would be something of a bluff, seeing she's pretty close to her limit.

I notice that all the responses so far since Teal's post have been Autekka people. Are the Verda wanting to see what happens with that before they post?

phil_ 01-14-2009 01:23 PM

I wasn't going to have Panko get involved. I guess I should have said something earlier, given that Teal asked us to post if we weren't going to get involved. My bad.

Menarker 01-14-2009 02:18 PM

Yeah, my character is kinda in "sleep" mode. Was going to wait til the morning unless something noisily epic occurred.

Astral Harmony 01-15-2009 05:48 AM

Ditto for me. Shimizu and Ponpon will be out of play until that meeting that was supposed to occur...the next morning, was it?

Well then, guess I should do it before some NPC walks in!

I'll get a post up soon. It's just going to be tricky. :sweatdrop

So many questions to answer!

phil_ 01-15-2009 08:25 PM

Well, you had plenty of warning that this wouldn't end cleanly. You made an acceptable justification in your post, though. Not that excuses will make everything all better.
