Ok, we've already been over Fawkes being a douche at the end. But then we get there. I'm wearing T51b armour, I have the rad-resistant perk, I popped Rad-X, and I have 40 Rad-Away that remove 150 rads each. I'm getting 1 rad/s. I could literally have stayed in there for 16 minutes, without taking any Rad-Away. With the Rad-Away, I could have survived for 91 minutes. A full hour and a half. I am proof against radiation. And yet, as soon as I input the code, I die? Bullshit.

They've flat out stated that Broken Steel is the 'real' ending, IE there isn't one and you can keep playing. I think they had this planned from the start.

What kind of industry has it become when companies start releasing the "real ending" to their game months later. Not to mention it is effectively a mod and none of the console players can use it.

It's coming out for console.

And honestly this isn't the worst - they did give you an ending and resolution to the main storyline. I'm okay with them offering more content for sale that extends the story because it's actually optional, whereas I could see them doing a TO BE CONTINUED when you get abducted by the Enclave and selling the entire rest of the game.

This really isn't that horrible.

Yea, I just went and looked that up. Thats what I get for saying something with only a half understanding of whats going on.

It is a legitimate concern - I remember a thread a while back where a game developer said he was thinking about doing exactly that.

I weird thing happened to me today; I fast travelled to Paradise falls (so I could get paid for my hard earned slaving) and as I walked towards the entrance I noticed a car had spawned on top of the already existing pile of cars nearby, but it seemed to be having trouble sitting still and kept jumping about slightly. After a few seconds of watching it it suddenly spasmed into the air and was launched clean accross the horizon at several hundred miles an hour. I was unable to locate where it landed. Funny though.

I also found a way to be really evil to Harkness on the Replicated Man quest; tell him who he is, but then say you'll kill his pursuer so he gives you his plasma rifle. Then go and tell Zimmer who the android is. Claim the wired reflexes perk as reward. Follow Zimmer to Harkness and watch as Zimmer resets Harkness' memory to factory settings. Test out your bitchin new plasma rifle and kill Zimmer. Harkness now has nobody to follow and no personality, he just wanders aimlessly around Rivet city saying he's awaiting input.

Yes, I am a complete bastard.

I saw quite a few hilarious glitches. Some replicatable, some not. At Paradice Falls, push that two-headed cow thing out of its cage. Then before it can get back in close the gate. It gets kinda weird. Also, somehow I got two slave collars... no idea how.

One that really sucked was while I was getting the alien blaster ammo, it started phasing into the ground so I couldn't get it all.

If there is one flaw of this game, I'd say its the lack of AI aggression sliders. For example a random raider or super mutant will attack you reguardless of the situation. Even when its clearly illadvised

While approaching the Jefferson Memorial, Liberty Prime got tossed up onto a metal scaffold. Took him a while to figure out how to come down.

And then he promptly threw a nuke at the Enclave. God, I love that robot.

He wandered behind some of those last buildings on the right before the memorial for me, and couldn't get out.

Also, what are all those radio towers for?

Most of the glitches I've experienced in the game seem to be random items jumping up in the air and falling back down, usually when I enter an area such as in Paradise Falls, Megaton, or when moving through DC.

I really want any future expansions to Fallout 3 to have Liberty Prime wandering the wastes chunking nuke footballs at random things while shouting his patriotic slogans.

The radio towers seem to be flavor, they're usually linked up to some man-hole or cave nearby where you can usually find some loot.
