My new bio (Some slight changes). 1 dot Melee now, no Itimidation, 6 willpower, and 5 dots in Mentor (Background). Would the rank 6 Mentor make my guys chances of getting a Grand Klaive any better (They are highly ranked werewolves, so they may give their Fetish to their apprentice, who is my guy)?

Breed:
Lupus: You were born a wolf and raised in the wilds
among wolves. Until you were almost full-grown (two years
or so), you were unaware of your true nature as a werewolf.
You aren't as sophisticated as a homid, but you have stronger
faith in your instincts.

Auspice:
Ahroun: Full Moon—Warriors and protectors, they
fight like no other auspices and bring destruction to the
Wyrm wherever it dwells and breeds.

Tribe:
Get of Fenris: Dedicated to the Wyrm's utter destruction,
the Get are considered savage and bloodthirsty. This
tribe is primarily of Germanic and Scandinavian descent,
and Fenrir take great pride in their heritage.

I think we covered the No Grand Klaive Clause. Anything else, including the normal Kliave, except for the Grand version.

Otherwise, I have no problem with it.

I doubt having a high-rank Mentor would make getting a Grand Klaive easier. The GK is an elder's PERSONAL weapon. As in, "Nobody's paws but mine get jiggy wid da bladey!"

While he MIGHT be bequeathed it if said Elder died dueling a Methuselah, odds are, the sept'd just requisition the weapon and give it to whomever they felt was most worthy, if they didn't decide to bury it with him.

And come on, is a Grand Klaive THAT important? It's maybe... 1 point of damage over a normal klaive, and it's harder to use (diff 7 vs diff 6 for Klaive).

What advantages does Pure Breed have?

Higher respect level, or it raises higher, one or the other. Basically you come from a warrior heritage, the more points the more obvious, and people regard you in higher standing because of it.

My character will probably change later... Due to being Lupine I can't have rich Backgrounds, and most other backgrounds don't make sense for a Lupine as well. Adding another point in Str or Dex will probably be better...

Also, what are wyrms?

Dante 04-21-2004 11:40 PM

Wyrms? You mean the Wyrm, maybe, the cosmic force of entropy and balance which got corrupted into a force of ineffable darkness, maybe?

Oh, and vamps feeding of Wolves with high Pure Breed get temporary levels of Celerity and Potence.

I used "wyrms" a couplea times in my bio cause I'm too lazy to write "creatures of the" 6 times and it sounds stupid anyway.

EDIT: FZ are you gonna do details on exactly what the vamp council is? (I mean elysium, conclave whathave you) or is the one of the "don't worry too much about WOD backstory" areas?

Dante 04-22-2004 04:48 AM

I doubt he's going to go into too much detail on it... I may do it, since I'm somewhat in charge of the vamps... although since the PCs are essentialy going to be guests in vamp terrain, it might eb a good idea to put in the necessary functionaries...

Mage#27 04-22-2004 05:26 AM

right. Seems like this thing is somewhere in between a normal elysium and a conclave.

It's too big of a deal to just be an Elysium meeting (unless my idea of elysium is all wrong) but it's not really big enough for conclave and if it were that would require the nosferatu to be a justicar (Cock Robin I think is the current one).

I think there will be some need for the cogs of the camarilla machine. At the least we'll need a sheriff, a prince, and a keeper of elysium for what this looks like. Also a scourge (if the city has one), a snenschal (ditto), and probably some members of the primogen. Most of these won't need a full char type write up but it would be useful to know somthing about them.

is the current vamp count stil only 2? Vamps seem interesting. I might switch again...
