No. Not now, not ever. I refer you to FZ's Scenario for krylo #1.

Actually, I forgot to tell you what your Apocalyptic form it, didn't I? Your strongest Lore is Death, right?

Krylo 04-23-2004 12:27 AM

That is correct, sir! I was hoping for something resembling a normal angel with black wings, but I like the death lore... being an angel of death and all.

Forever Zero 04-23-2004 12:43 AM

Alright, I'll hunt that down, then I'm off to bed.

Damn, forgot you can't copy text from the Demon book. But I typed up the basics.

Namtar, Visage of Death
These angels manifest as shadowy figures wreathed in tendrils of ghostly mist that shift and writhe from moment to moment, occasionally reflecting the angels' thoughts in strange, symbolic forms. A pall of silence surrounds these figures, and their feet never seem to touch the ground. Their skin is as pale as alabaster, and their faces are constantly hidden in deep shadow.

Powers:
Wings (Faster movement, and flying.)
Improved Initiative (Act faster in battles)
Pass Without trace (Stealth rolls are easier, and you leave no footprints or marks of where you walk or even move)
Casts No Relection (Your image won't appear on camera or in photos, or be seen in a mirror.)

High-Torment Version
Monstrous Namatar exude the cold aura of death, indiscriminately draining the life of every living thing around them. Flowers wilt in their passing, children grow glassy-eyed, and the old feel mortality grip their heart...

High-Torment Powers: (These apply as well as your Low-Torment Powers)
Cloak of Shadows (Demon is covered in darkness and shadow by day, and is nearly invisable at night.)
Deathgrip (Even if the Demon's host is killed, the Demon can take a willpower roll and simply go into a coma instead. The Demon will stay in the coma until the next morning, then revive with 1 HP and one less faith point.)
Aura of Entropy (Everyone around you, friend and foe, gets one less dice to roll in all matters needing a dice roll.)
Damage Resistance (All damage a Demon takes is ignored, short of Death itself. When the Demon returns to it's human form, all damage penalties apply like normal.)

Ok... that's pretty damned sweet.

I REALLY hope the earthbound one isn't of the death variety.

Forever Zero 04-23-2004 12:51 AM

No, as in everything short of your body being killed is ignored. There are 8 levels of health I believe, and as you take damage, you begin to build up penatlies the more damaged you are. You ignore those penalties basically in High-Torment mode.

EDIT: And I'm working on an Earthbound type, haven't settled yet though.

Krylo 04-23-2004 12:55 AM

Even so, that's pretty nice... and the death grip... and aura of entropy...

I also think you should make him celestial... or fire... maybe spirit.

Forever Zero 04-23-2004 01:01 AM

They're all good in their own ways. Lore of Flesh lets you turn into the most beutiful person on earth at low levels, and into a raging mound of mutating flesh on high levels. The Lore of the Forge lets them turn into massive metal Angels at Low Torment and massive metal bladed Demons that destroy all electronics near them at High Torment. Lore of Earth lets them turn into figures seemingly made of dirt and stone at Low Torment, and into massive beings made of rock with multiple limbs and spikes sticking out at High Torment. They all kick ass in their own ways.

EDIT: Since you took death, I was thinking of taking fire. I just need to research it more, and actually get off my ass and make a Fallen.

Mage#27 04-23-2004 01:30 AM

wow... this is complicated.

Yknow every time I change things go haywire... at this point I'll end up playing a Changeling or somthing....

say FZ.. could I play a Mummy?

Currently it looks like we'll have at least 1 more vamp and we may be losing a werewolf so I'll stick there for the time being. That makes the current count:

Vampire: Dante, Ecurt, probably Celes.

Werewolf: IHMN, Lazy, Demon, Mage#27

Mage: Bassdouken, Snefix, Reality deviant

Demon: DR, Krylo, Psycho Mantis, possibly FZ.

Given vamps low power status even with 3 PCs it wouldn't be unreasonable to toss in some extra NPCs and such so that looks ok.

BassDouken 04-23-2004 11:40 AM

FZ(like the new avatar) I can see that this conversation has once again taken a downward spiral. If someone could, *cough*dante*cough*, I would still like to essence to be explained. I'm still a bit lost in that catagory. From what I gathered it is just how my mage's Avatar awoke.

Forever Zero 04-23-2004 02:31 PM

Dante isn't here, he left on Deployment a while back. Reality or Mage would probably be the best to try and explain it, although in a pinch I might be able to find out.
