do you mean the 6 dots you get in spheres? Then yes. You spend them just like any other dots. 1 has to go in your tradition speciality but otherwise they are like any dots.

Tradition speicality spheres are the spheres that a particular tradition is good at. I don't remember them all but you're playing a hermetic right? Order of Hermes is forces so you must put 1 dot in forces.

Sons of Ether is matter for Snefix. Other than that.. Euthanatos is entropy, Celestial chorus is prime, virtual adepts is corespondance, akashic brothers is mind and I don't remember the others. I think verbena might be life and dreamspeakers might be spirit.

Unless this has been resolved already, I would like to point out that a rank one werewolf (rank pertaining to his stature in his clan. A corporate ladder heiarchy if you will) would never be given a fetish. Especially a 'Level 5' fetish.

Spoils of War (in which a Level 5 Glaive may possibly be obtained) are divided amongst the elders of a clan (or pack) with the leader getting his possession of most of the good stuff.

As a rank one werewolf, IHMN, the best you could have is a large stick that has been used to poke a fire once or twice.

But, then again, the DM may say differently.

Well then what do you suggest? He did pull out the Level 5 Fetish Background, but the Werewolf book only suggests the Glaive as a level 5 fetish. And if it makes it a background choice for beginning characters,

A. Why would it do that if he couldn't pick it, and

B. If he can pick it, but he wouldn't be allowed the Glaive specifically, what ohter level 5 Fetishes can you think of/come up with?

Actually it depends on the species of Werewolf. Lupus have the shrtest life span, Metis next I think, and Homid the longest, but while the Lupus do have a shortest lifespan, it is still long like over 100 years I think.

Also, I know the least about the Mage book, so it would take me a bit to look it up, but I think Mage#27 got it all down right.

As for a list of Fetishes, I apparently don't know how the Fetish system works... So I'm hesitant to put down a list of Fetishes if I don't know how the system is supposed to work in the first place, and who is supposed to get what Fetishes in a Wolf Heirachy.

Zero, if IHMN placed 5 points in 'Fetish' it means that he 'possess five levels of fetishes.'

That means that he can have multiple fetishes up to a maximum combined level of five.

So, basically, three level one fetishes and a level two fetish, etc etc etc. It is up to the Dm to decide what quantity of fetishes he has, and a what quality. Being items that contain part of the spirtual world, they may possibly contain powers unknown to IHMN.

But, being shards of the spirit world, it is more likely that all IHMN fetishes are just pieces of Bling Bling. Sure they mean he's important, and possibly is of a decent pedegrie, but they don't all have to be Uber powerful. Level One fetishes are more like status symbols among the pups than anything else.

For example, IHMN might have a Bear Tooth that grants him the ability to see his spirit form in a clear pool of water, etc etc etc. This would be an example of a level one fetish.
